  1. 2018 Fury Orange Convertible (Delivered)

Good guess and nearly right: the wife does. It it still a lease ;) and not fully loaded as we couldn't order the PP as option.
  2. 2018 Fury Orange Convertible (Delivered)

Thank you. That was the weather in Metro Detroit almost all last week. But I am afraid that'll be it for this year.
  3. 2018 Fury Orange Convertible (Delivered)

Sunny sky ... I just had to get out drive and take a few more pictures. It's amazing how the colour "changes" even in bright sun light. Just look at how it changes depending on the angle the light hits it. Love that colour ever more. It always makes me grin when looking at the car in a...
  4. Photograph of the Month - December

Blue sky and orange fury - I'm loving it.
  5. Took Delivery of my Orange Fury 2018 GT

Question on the ten speed: do you have the feeling that it "hunts" for gears or do you feel / think it shifts spot on - especially when cruising?

  7. Picked up my 2018 Mustang GT in Royal Crimson!

This sums it up perfectly. I was amazed how much louder Ford made it compared to the previous model. My wife's 2017 now sounds like the new one in Silent mode.
  8. Took Delivery of my Orange Fury 2018 GT

Great colour! You will see, it stands out anywhere (except school buses, ok!). Have fun!
  9. Question on “Love te Drive” deflector

I did have a look at those and indeed they are lower and I'd prefer their profile - but they are also mounted further back than the bigger ones. Hence the part that covers the seats does not come forward far enough IMHO. There is a company (airstoper.com) that makes those "hoods" that go...
  10. Question on “Love te Drive” deflector

Thanks for the feedback. I don't mind the cold air around my head - have been driving convertibles with top down at freezing temps. It's more the cold air that gets in between the seats and into the footwell that bothers me in winter.
  11. Question on “Love te Drive” deflector

The link to the German Ford page ... https://ford-zubehoer.de/komfort/komfortprodukte/windschott/2063486
  12. Question on “Love te Drive” deflector

I had hoped that it at least cuts out the air flow between the seats - that’s the main thing I don’t like on 4-seater convertibles. And folding the top part down worked for me when we had the Focus CC (again, the vertical part was way too high).
  13. Question on “Love te Drive” deflector

Yes, I’ve seen the european one and I don’t get why Ford does not sell them in the US  It would be my favourite design - it even has the Pony on it.
  14. Question on “Love te Drive” deflector

Hi there, Question to you “love the drive” deflector users: can the top (the vertical part) be folded down for driving? It is sooo huge. And second question: is there any deflector out there, where the vertical part is way shorter, e.g. half as high, max as high as the headrests...
  15. 150+ mph

So, that's the official recommendation?? :clap2:
  16. 150+ mph

You guys need to go to Germany!! You can get the Mustang up to the speed limiter on the Autobahn easily. Officially that's at 250km/h (155mph), but GPS said I did 260km/h (160mph). :headbang: And I was a bit astonished how well it behaved (it did have the big brake kit, which is mandatory...
  17. Anyone else feeling the MY18 urge?

Hi Paul, you'll love the Mustang as a power and size upgrade (and maybe a convertible). Just remember, it's a huge car for European standards - I drove my GT86 and a '17 Mustang back-to-back through the Eifel hills around the Nuerburgring earlier this year - that certainly GT86 territory...
  18. 2018 Fury Orange Convertible (Delivered)

Thank you - and I guess we did all we can with two manual V8 convertibles. A colour more subtle than Fury??
  19. 2018 Fury Orange Convertible (Delivered)

    Sounds like a plan!
