  1. Modifying your Mustang - Is it a "waste of money?"

Lol that's me in the top right!
  2. Made 471whp with PBD E85 tune, JLT Intake and Texas Speed headers/xpipe (catted)

The cats that come with headers barely do anything at all and don't pose much of a restriction to exhaust flow.
  3. Steering Issue

    Do what meow?
  4. Coil covers on '18 and up coyote

You can paint yours for cheap.
  5. Steering Issue

Electric power steering so no fluid to check. Headers hitting the steering shaft could be a possibility, temperature dependent.
  6. V8 Mustang prototype spied (video)....but what is it?

If this is the spot for future vehicle wish lists then I'll put mine here. Boss 302: 5.0 gen 3 with unique cams and intake manifold, 485/420 rated with power extending all the way to 7,500(trying to stay realistic) manual only, Tremec 3160 would be nice but MT-82 D4 with 4.09 gears would be ok...
  7. The speedometer accuracy is going to get me ticketed.

I had a customer bring in their car with a copy of a speeding ticket and demanded we check their speedometer to bring to court with them verifying it wasn't their fault. Too bad for them I downloaded a GPS speedo app on my phone and verified that their speedometer was in fact dead on.

  9. Advice - dyno results

Which gear was it run in? Edit: according to the graph top MPH was only 104 which makes it look like 3rd gear which will definitely affect torque numbers.
  10. 2018 PCM - Controls What?

AFAIK Ford sells control packs specifically for installing the Coyote engine into classic cars.
  11. Roll Call DMV Area(DC Maryland Virginia)

Speaking of pollen, I'd probably die in Hawaii with all the plant/flower variety there.
  12. Roll Call DMV Area(DC Maryland Virginia)

/\ I have a funny feeling that photo was not taken in Maryland. :cwl:
  13. 93/100/E85 Dyno Runs on the race motor (scheduled for April 22nd)

It makes me happy that you see the big picture and have your priorities straight. Way too damn many people in this community have their heads stuck on numbers and it's saddening.
  14. IRS Braces

    This before anything else.
  15. Anyone know what is going on?

I don't think I could diagnose that from this picture. Plus that looks like the steering rack, not the transmission.
  16. '

The hood has been aluminum since at least 2010 and probably since the beginning of the S197 in 2005. Major issues with corrosion on the leading edge of the hood because of this.
  17. Apex EC-7 Wheel Setup

OP mentioned 275/40/18 which is a far more common tire size than 285/40/18.
