Cool thanks for the insight...I will post a couple of pics if pick-up of the car goes smoothly tomorrow. Would really love to get the insight of members here...esp on what the area around the fog lights (not turn signal) *should* look like vs. the pic I will post tomorrow
Did the cuts around your front signals cover the entire painted surface or just taper off somewhere near the light fixture? (Lower front passenger side did not look like a perfect fit to my completely untrained eye).
I did not think to take a pic but am going back tomorrow as 1 section on...
Close-up of front blinker area?
Can some folks with Xpel on the front please post close-up pics of the seams/cuts in and around the fog lamps? Went to view first pass of my car at the installer today and need comparison points.
Thanks in advance!
Hi OP,
In my case I knew right away the R was the car I wanted...if I could find it. The overall look, feel and that flippin sweet red badge I had to have it...if I could find it. After 2-3mos of searching I had all but given up and was narrowing down color/options on what Z06 I was going...
Hey Tommy,
Here is a sweet thread on the 2016 breakout:

I think we are all anxiously awaiting the 2017 numbers...last I saw count was in the 600s and projected to be ~1k by someone in the know at Flat Rock.
Cool thanks guys! So it seems sizing will be the hangup on posting quickly from my phone (iphone 7plus). But at least I have a few options to play around with now...appreciate it.
Get my car back from Xpel (front/impact areas) and Ceramic Pro Gold (full interior & exterior) sometime this week...
I have been all over this and other forums with no luck trying to find a thread on how to post a picture in threads/replies?
I found a way to link to album photos on my profile but even that upload tool leaves a lot to be desired. Yet I see tons of ppl seemingly posting pics with ease...what...
The internet sucks...'no questions asked' as in if there is some sort of defect in workmanship, etc that causes failure Ford will replace them no questions asked. Additionally if tires pick up nails, debris, etc and cannot be patched they will replace it free of charge. Dealer gave example of...
Nope...but the Shelby is the first Ford I've purchased since my Probe GT in the late 90s (fun to drive but piece of poo). A week after I bought my R I got a 17' Focus ST to be my DD. So will def be curious to see folks' experience on this topic.
I don't know if it will help or not but I did...
Mine will be however Ford keeps it set until it is paid for. I've gotten the impression that I'm the only clown that bought every warranty known to man when I purchased my R lol
I had this happen after revving in neutral once too on my R. I turned the engine off and back on to clear it. If it happens again I will try pumping the clutch!
Hi Andre,
This is where I bought the Black Gorilla lug nuts for my R:

Summit confirmed compatibility and coupla hundred miles in no issues. Isaac/FP tech line recommended 150 ft-lbs of torque on the lug nuts so that is what i roll with.
