    If you do have to come out of pocket, try to find your local mustang technician. They may charge you a lot less for installation. Maybe you can buy the parts yourself or hit a junkyard.. Please get full coverage! I'm sure you know this

    I do it myself, or take it to my dealership. This way I can only blame myself or my dealership. You know to stay away from corner oil shops. Half the time the person working on those cars, They don't even know what they're doing.

    Hi, Ford is going to go ahead and warranty my 19 Mustang. I'm getting a new short block and clutch/flywheel installed over the next two weeks. Is there anything I should know before I pick the car up? How should I drive the car? Does the car lose value with these additions?

    The warranty company said that they usually cover issues related to modifications from previous owners. The limited warranty definitely covers engines. I'm just more concerned about them being on backorder. I didn't make any modifications to the car it was only 4 weeks old..
