All dealers have different views on those plate holders, mine can't stand them and wont install them to any car they sell. Others, well, they just dont get it and don't see a problem with them.

Yeh that is the way I am going too. Check with your dealer since they have already fitted a few ofthem, they may have ideas. Check how they do their demo car. My dealer hates the supplied mounts and does it similar to that look.

You can Daz, look up a bit further at SSB post, it has a ruby red with the plates only screwed on. there are a few other pics about that shows the difference of screwing into the dimples, which make the plates drop over the botton grille, or ones that mount higher and sit completely on the bumber.

The only legal requirement would be it can hold the weight of the bonnet. Even if it did mess with the DBS , which isnt a legal requirement here yet, its part of the EU saftey rating.

No one has reported anything, but yet to hear of anyone who had the DBS go off. The strut connects to near the hinge, so it raises from the same point, although at a different angle, the pivot mounts on both ends will manage those angles without an issues. As to the force of the release...

They dont need to be fitted to meet any ADRs, but if fitted they need to be amber. See amber, you know you are facing the side of a car, see red, you are facing the rear of a car. That to me seems to be the reason for keeping them uniform.

I had three differnt build dates, one from Vista, ETIS, and the window sticker. Asked through ford service here and the ETIS one was confirmed correct. Not saying window sticker isnt right, but for me, the ETIS date was the right one.

Totally agree with this. As far as I have always understood suspension isnt just the one component upgrade but the entire setup matched together, including wheels. Wheel sizes will impact any setup.
