  1. DARK HIGHLAND GREEN / BULLITT S550 MUSTANG Thread

I can't decide if I want the 1/4 window louvers on my black Bullitt, but yours looks GREAT with them.
  2. Full detail complete with Turtle Wax Ceramic Spray coating!

I actually have some of the meguiars hybrid and haven't tried tried it. If you feel it may have reduced some scratching occurrences, I might just have to try it on my black stang Lol
  3. Full detail complete with Turtle Wax Ceramic Spray coating!

What I think is the issue is that even though TW tells you the polish can be used by hand, it works best with a machine. I used it by hand because my vehicle isn't that bad off. Some polishes can't fully break down when by hand thus leave "rub and polish" marks. I've seen that issue with many...
  4. Full detail complete with Turtle Wax Ceramic Spray coating!

I'm basically a detailer. Been doing it for years, was a big side gig for me. Best results I get with shadow black is Griots perfection creme w/ a DA polisher. I have and tried pretty much every product out there except the professional ceramic coatings. This is the first time for me owning a...
  5. Full detail complete with Turtle Wax Ceramic Spray coating!

What meguiars ceramic product are you using, they have several? Also, I don't think you'll be impressed with TW's ceramic wash...... ZERO suds.
  6. Full detail complete with Turtle Wax Ceramic Spray coating!

Yep. It's really not hyped up to what they say it is. Proper prep, polishing and protection product of your choice is the way to go. I even tried their black polish. The mustang clear coat is way to soft and doesn't like it. It leaves swirls and rub marks no matter what I do
  7. Normal vs. Sport Mode = totally different car

I am familiar w/ Klasse. Haven't used it on black. My problem is I'll run a bright LED or Halogen light over the paint and that is when stress mode sets in. Sunlight exposes them too.
  8. Normal vs. Sport Mode = totally different car

Love Kona blue. Had 2 mustangs in Kona Blue. Damn near just as bad as black as far as keeping it clean and keeping scratches/swirls to a minimum
  9. Normal vs. Sport Mode = totally different car

Have you found a go to product to help with hide/ reduce swirls/scratches?
  10. Normal vs. Sport Mode = totally different car

Same reason I went with a black Bullitt. I think the DHG is a nice color but I never could see myself owning a green vehicle. Usually wouldn't pick black either but I wanted a Bullitt. I am OCD and the black stresses me out trying to keep it clean and swirl free.
  11. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

    Damn I love that color.
  12. Normal vs. Sport Mode = totally different car

Don't punch the throttle around turns or making a turn or on wet roads. Just play with the throttle when your moving along at a constant speed. Punch it half throttle for a couple hundred hundreds yards, get a feel for it .
  13. Normal vs. Sport Mode = totally different car

I have a manual and I can tell. That is why I started this thread.
  14. Normal vs. Sport Mode = totally different car

Thats right! And slap her around a bit
  15. Normal vs. Sport Mode = totally different car

If you have any open road areas in your area, and at time frames where there is less traffic on the road. Maybe set up a track day at your nearest race track or road course. You can have a little fun on the open road in sport or track mode with getting to crazy. The snappiness of the throttle is...
  16. Normal vs. Sport Mode = totally different car

What is so stressful being in Sport or track modes?
  17. Normal vs. Sport Mode = totally different car

I normally drive in Sport mode and the other day as I was out driving the car and it felt sluggish. Just didn't have the throttle response and power I was used to. Realized I was in normal mode and was surprised of the much noticeable difference between the two. Actually was disappointed in...
