  1. Jacking rail question

Thanks for the input everyone, looks like I’m good without removing the seam sealer. One additional question, I’m looking for a brand that will be slightly below the pinch weld for protection. Seems like some are and some aren’t. Can you recommend a brand that does and you’re happy with. I found...
  2. Jacking rail question

For those that have installed Jacking rails, did you remove the factory seam sealer near the front bolts or just leave it? I really don’t want to remove the factory seam sealer but still want a flush fit. Thanks.

  4. Coyote Gen3 cold start engine sound analysis (Mach 1)

So did we establish this “chirping” noise coming from what we believe is the car phaser between about 50 seconds in and then goes away at 2 minutes is a pretty normal noise for coyotes? Mine is doing the same exact thing.
  5. 5.0 Coyote chirp / tic on start up

Are you positive it's belt chirp and not the same thing I am experiencing?
  6. 5.0 Coyote chirp / tic on start up

The weird thing is my car was built way after as this TSB states built on or before 4/30/19. (my car was built 9/29/21). In addition like you, I hate to see them take the engine apart only to find out the noise is still there. What year and how many miles on your car?
  7. 5.0 Coyote chirp / tic on start up

Thanks for all the input and insights so far. I am interested if anyone had the issue and figured out exactly what it is other than a random noise from the 5.0
  8. 5.0 Coyote chirp / tic on start up

I would be curoius if you hear it as well.
  9. 5.0 Coyote chirp / tic on start up

I thought the same thing but based on the fact it doesn't make the noise at first and then comes and goes has me second guessing. In addition, NGOT8R said he did all the pullies but the noise was still there.
  10. 5.0 Coyote chirp / tic on start up

Good to know. How many miles do you have?
  11. 5.0 Coyote chirp / tic on start up

    Strange noise for sure
  12. 5.0 Coyote chirp / tic on start up

Is it the same in that it only happens on cold start and then goes away after a minute or two?
  13. 5.0 Coyote chirp / tic on start up

That’s good to hear. I love the car and hate to take it to the dealer to investigate. The weird thing is it comes and goes only on cold start and lasts a minute or so
  14. 5.0 Coyote chirp / tic on start up

I was hoping someone could confirm or deny if this is a normal noise on a 5.0. I have read tons of posts on the coyote tic but this noise only occurs on cold start and then lasts roughly a minute or two. It almost sounds like a chirp so thinking maybe the cam phasers? The video is a little long...

  17. Brake Rotors and Pads

What didn’t you like about their brake pads? I was looking at their Ceramic?
