Those are amazing looking wheels.
Ah yes, I see you have OKC listed. Brother (RIP) used to live in Stratford on a small ranch. I think their shelter was still above ground when I was down there. I thought maybe you had a pit to change oil and stuff :D.
Looking good. What is the finish called on those wheels? They look really good...from what I can see. Can you provide a better pic? Also, what is that right behind the Cowboy's welcome mat?
This is the difference between a 2021 and 2022/3 and worth 10hp. Not the same as getting a CAI. Well, maybe similar as if you got a full CAI kit it likely wouldn't have the carbon trap. If the CAI had larger diameter intake you would likely need a tune with it. You don't need a tune for...
Flyhalf is doing actual racing so he's definitely a good source of info. Are you running with traction control/advance trac on? That will engage rear brakes a lot more. Check other sources for the rear calipers other than Ford dealers. I know there are some parts stores in the US that can...
flyhalf is who (Alessandro) I was thinking of. Unless he's upgraded his brakes recently he was running stock brakes. If you are running 19" wheels the best value brake upgrade is the GT350R brake kit. Still not full race car brakes but a huge upgrade. Hopefully Alessandro will see he was...
If you're replacing because of a torn dust boot I wouldn't bother. Mine was torn after 1 track day. You could potentially get it replaced under warranty. Ford replaced one of mine in my old car (2019 PP2). I've talked to someone who competitively races his 2018 with the stock PP brakes. I...
The dealer I bought it from is 2.5hrs away. I'm thinking the local dealer might blame the hood struts and charge me for it. I might give it a try and see what they say.
As stated it's been that way since I got the car. I had issues opening it to put the hood struts on. It's not a total pain to open but just can't get the latch to release as quickly as you'd expect it to. Might be slightly misaligned.
I need to find that. I would like to have something to catch bugs on track before I remove them.
My hood hasn't opened smoothly since I got the car. I probably should have taken it in before I installed my Ford hood struts.
By look better I just mean the water spot that didn't go away after washing went away after the ceramic coating was put on. How did that work??? I have no idea.
I thought they were referring to the roof wrap.
They put ceramic on my hood stripe. It actually looked better because it had some water spot that didn't go away until after it was ceramic coated. IT's an odd choice using that matte area but overall I do like the look of it.
Anyone???
Local dealer wasn't able to find information on these bolts. I'll try some others but was really hoping someone out there would have this info. Hopefully I don't have to convince someone to let me pull their bolts and take them to Fastenal :D.
I also have the whole car covered in PPF/ceramic coating. Had to after how my other Stangs looked from track use. Which, surprisingly wasn't noticed by most but when I would clean it I'd see every mark. I'll just keep mine and one day I might feel the need to add those suspension bits (or...
I have a connection for getting OEM stuff at a discount. Still a lot more than aftermarket but IF I had done it I probably would have done OEM.
I don't see Recaro's or Handling package on your build list so no trade here :D
I ruled out all colors that didn't have the red pin stripe but I kind of wish I had gone with Grabber Blue and just replaced the stripes. I do like the white with black and red accents though.
Which brand?
Even if I hadn't decided to PPF my whole car I would have had that black rear panel done just for that reason. I just sold a spare I had purchased for my old car that I had planned to PPF before installing.
