They all have the strut tower brace and cover when new. I'm sure the previous owner removed it while doing some mods. Might have removed the strut tower brace for their own aftermarket one, then removed it before they dumped it on the used car lot.
Proceed with caution but it could still be a...

Buckle up boys, here we go again!
Definitely use that ultra premium seasonal favor. The cinnamon additives create a natural warming sensation within the block, allowing your car to reach peak performance in record time.
Great post OP! This is such a weird quirk in the market right now, but honestly it’s kind of cool that buyers can pick exactly the flavor of Mustang they want for that $50k–$65k window.
I’d have to go with the GT350 since that voodoo hoodoo sound is just way too intoxicating to pass up. Can’t go...
The 10R80 transmission has been acting wonky since it was developed. Quite a reputation it has.
Just swap out the fluid with the official OEM stuff. That should fix your issue. If not, it might need to be reprogramed.
I am sure everything is fine. That’s just your "I messed up" inner monologue spiraling because you feel bad. At most, you just gave your clutch some trauma, nothing a little denial can’t fix!
The manual prop rod has never failed me.
Pretty? Not at all... but it is reliable at preventing the hood and engine bay from becoming guillotine. :giggle:
LOL the responses in here are wonderful.
Perhaps this is a great place to ask folks about what oil they recommend for the car.
Ahh the great endless debate...

I have the Pirelli Winter Sottozero 3 tires which work very well in Colorado winters, but I don't think I have ever gone beyond 85 or 90mph on them. Mainly highway speeds with not much snow but cold temperatures.
They do work great for small amounts of snow and city driving. Never got stuck or...
I get what you mean. Sadly there aren't many affordable new options with the Tremec. I would strongly encourage you to keep your eye out for good quality used Mach 1s and GT 350s. I would never buy a raged on, abused or worn out car either, but there are so many people that keep these cars as...
Hey OP, a $10k budget sounds like a lot, but it’s going to disappear way faster than you think. You’ll basically be tapped out just buying the parts. Once you grab the Tremec, the clutch/flywheel, the pedal assembly, all the interior shifter bits and electronics, disable the steering wheel...
That is a pretty specific search. Are you willing to look out of state/nation wide and have it shipped to you?
Also, I might suggest the 6 speed manual.
The 6 speed auto transmission is a good transmission but every 30K miles is best. That is what I always recommend. Even every 40-60k miles if you really want to extend the interval; but that 150k mile is a terrible idea.
Why would they recommend that...
After 150k miles with that dirty fluid...
The Shelby GT350s from 2017+ got that Ford Performance design on the kick plate, but they were not that chrome stick on badge.
The 2016 Gt350s got a different design that is very cool.
