  1. Interior Light Trim with Blue Strips

How did you do this? I've been looking to do the exact same thing, though couldn't really find what I was looking for and considered just going with blue welt piping trim. What product, where'd you wire to, how'd you get it to stick, etc etc.
  2. ** long read; think Ford has an oil issue which they don't want to admit

Oh, wait.... are you the infamous Adam? I'm relatively new to the forums (maybe a few weeks old) and have heard about your tunes.
  3. ** long read; think Ford has an oil issue which they don't want to admit

To be fair, as far as I can tell the people having these issues are those modding their PCV... have seen one issue yet from those who haven't, or maybe I simply haven't seen them yet.

Thank you for the excellent response. I had no idea this was the way high end makers, like Bugatti, handled the issue and it makes plenty of sense when broken down that way. Thanks again.

Wouldn't that place it within an acceptable margin of error though, so it doesn't destroy the engine? Especially if you just spent over 1 million on a car and reserve some track time to let loose, I'd think an owner would be pretty upset that his new hyper car is smoking and verging on engine...
  6. ** long read; think Ford has an oil issue which they don't want to admit

This is basically an ad. I'm still finding it tough to wrap my mind around why a manufacturer like Bugatti, why production costs aren't an issue, wouldn't put a catch can in something like their Veyron if they're this detrimentally important. This is an engine with 4 turbos, 1 for every 4...
  7. Base Unit with 5 CH Amp

I'm gearing up to upgrade my stereo as well, and this was incredibly helpful. Particularly the remote. I'd seen in another thread where one guy spliced in to his rear camera wire in the trunk for remote and though to myself "wouldn't it be easier to just directly wire it to a switch in the fuse...
  8. VTT Stage 2 is HERE!!!

The lower RPM definitely sounds deeper after the S2, but seems to scream as it gets higher. Thanks for the clip.
  9. VTT Stage 2 is HERE!!!

Me too. He said he has a GoPro video... been closely watching this thread since yesterday, he said he's going to upload it. I'm right on the edge of pulling the trigger on an MBRP Race exhaust... but this upgrade has my attention, and if I don't like the sound of the MBRP+this Stage 2, I might...

That's a solid point. Just trying to dog around and do some learning, thanks for the responses bud.

Wouldn't the use of a catch can reduce emissions though, considering they're not being burned at all? If this were about emissions, it seems like they'd all be using them to aide in hitting federal regulation. Being cheaper would make sense for Ford or something, but cost is a much lower factor...
  12. ** long read; think Ford has an oil issue which they don't want to admit

I'm curious... if catch cans are this important, why don't more reputable car sources stress the importance or why don't manufacturers (eg: Ford, Porsche, Lamborghini, Nissan, etc) use them by default in their performance lines (Mustang, 911, Adventador, GT-R)? Just trying to get a better...
  13. VTT Stage 2 is HERE!!!

I'm eager to see a sound clip with the exhaust. I'm looking to snap up the MBRP (but race instead). Wondering how much it changes the note. Will you be posting one or just numbers?
  14. What do I need to do to keep it looking new?

A popular method in the US is CQuartz, which I've seen mentioned around here a few times. Might look in to that?
  15. What do I need to do to keep it looking new?

Because they don't know any better or are lazy. The cloth they use in both the automated portion and to dry (should they have people hand drying) often isn't micro fiber or is full of grit that will put swirls in your clear coat. If you're not aware, swirls are the fine fine lines that make a...
  16. Mustang GT base audio is terrible

This is a great idea, thanks bud! [emoji108]
  17. Mustang GT base audio is terrible

Gotcha, thanks for the info. Looks like I might try to hold a tad bit longer then to see what crops up, as this sounds like the Kicker replacement method, rendering the stock speakers useless after cutting out the rings. I can be a paranoid dude and like keep the stock parts laying around in...
  18. Mustang GT base audio is terrible

Are they a direct fit for the rear speaker housing, or will there be cutting/fab required? The only replacements I've found require cutting rings out of the factory speakers, which I'd prefer not to do. [emoji26] Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
