  1. BL Fabrications 88/96 turbo install on 2019 Bullitt

In my opinion, on his car it was more of a necessity than an option. He has some pretty big Comp cams so the SD model was grossly inaccurate. The most obvious effect was that the inferred baro was way off, which threw off everything else. "Big Tuner" basically just locked down inferred baro...
  2. BL Fabrications 88/96 turbo install on 2019 Bullitt

Yes, @tdstuart did something similar, except he went into the imrc position sensor instead and used an adapter harness. I think it took us 25 logs and revisions, give or take, to tune his sd model. That was using just 4 mapped points and isolating each one for tuning, using a home-brew sd...
  3. Best oil now that Pennzoil changed formula?

Correction, I follow the OLM, which is typically 10k miles or 1 year whichever is first. However, with a proper flex tune it does automatically derate the oil life as a function of ethanol.
  4. Best oil now that Pennzoil changed formula?

2018 GT, E85, 18 psi boost, 65,000 miles….drain intervals at 10,000 miles or 12 months, whichever comes first. It uses about 1 quart per change.
  5. A long post about long time issues with cam correlation codes. (Carnage pics)

They also can get clogged up and cause the very problem they’re there to prevent….
  6. E85 and boost without return system

This is why I tune my own. I get to decide what I will tune for.
  7. E85 and boost without return system

Yes, resistance to change and some level of laziness. Why develop new better stuff when you can keep selling the same thing since 2012? Fore and Lund are dinosaurs stuck in 2017.
  8. Torco+ pump gas for dual tune on a 3.8 Whipple?

To me, that’s the implication, like pcmtec’s customos.
  9. Torco+ pump gas for dual tune on a 3.8 Whipple?

Right I wouldn’t call that a dual tune. I’d just call it two tunes but I guess that’s semantics. I don’t generally like witches brew fuels but 15-17 psi is probably fine. In fact I’d probably just tune it for pump gas at 15-17 psi with conservative timing and have another tune for race gas...
  10. Torco+ pump gas for dual tune on a 3.8 Whipple?

What boost level? What compression? And what do you mean by dual tune?
  11. 2021 Roush Mustang Tuning (issue)

The 2021 Roush are widely unlocked and easily tunable. Your tuner is either blowing smoke or has no clue what he's doing. There is absolutely no excuse for this and completely insane for them to keep your car that long with such a simple combination. You didn't mention injector upgrades or...
  12. going Supercharged

Man…I would love to install superchargers for $2900 a piece. That’s over $200 an hour!
  13. Fuel pump: KPM 800 VS DW 400? Pluses and minuses? on 202x MACH 1.

My mistake; I thought all the KPM buckets had twin pumps. That being the case, the FPDM diagnostics shouldn't be an issue.
  14. Fuel pump: KPM 800 VS DW 400? Pluses and minuses? on 202x MACH 1.

If I’m understanding correctly, the kpm800 powers two pumps off of a single fpdm. This being the case, you do lose some level of diagnostics because the fpdm is checking for too much or too little resistance from the pump. If one pump fails the diagnostics may not work properly. Also, there...
  15. going Supercharged

Well hang on to that stock balancer because they are rare and better than all the other stock coyote balancers.
  16. going Supercharged

The first pic looks aftermarket but the second looks like a stock ford viscous style.
  17. going Supercharged

Good question. I recall they changed mid-2019 so “maybe”. You can tell by looking at them. Post a pic if you want but the conventional ones have a visible rubber strip/swam whereas the fluid ones are flat in that area without the seam.
  18. going Supercharged

Yes it comes with the better viscous damper that ford only installed in 2018.
  19. The damn fuel pump issue.....

So you know you can't fill the bucket with fuel you pulled from the bucket right? What's this in reference to?
  20. 10R80 Downshift Response Improvement

I think I see the problem....much like there's a difference between drive mode and shift character, there is also a difference between drive mode and shift schedule. In PCMTec you can log drive mode number and shift schedule number. Often they are they same, but sometimes they are not. That's...
