What did you do about the crank bolt? Stock is a TTY bolt and the one in the stage 2 kit was a little longer than stock if I remember. I assume it's also a TTY bolt. Couldn't find a replacement when I looked.
Going through the same thing myself. Buying a shortblock and getting all the small parts from Autonation Whitebearlake and @beefcake. What specifically are you looking for? Here's my list in case it helps. Keeping the stock heads and just getting them cleaned out and new seals. Went through the...
Awesome thread. Thanks for taking the time to document the build. Also running the P1SC stage 2 beefcake special and just got a CEL a few weeks ago. Got the results of my compression test back today and looks like cylinder #8 has the same issue as you had. All cylinders around 215-225 apart from...
Whatās all this about red loctite? Just learning about this for the first time. Didnāt use any on my install. Any of you guys got a link to more info?
Oh and to the OP, I installed mine over a weekend in the driveway. Stage 2 P1SC @beefcake special and Lund tuned. Donāt regret a thing. @ahl395...
ā15 Procharger stage 2 here and absolutely no ragrets. As streetable as you can get. 650whp and drives like stock when Iāve not got my foot in it. Did blow the clutch not long after I installed it but replaced with a Mantic 9000 and it feels almost exactly like stock. Not only that but I chose...
Haven't dyno'd it but based on boost, load and the tuner's feedback looking at my logs he reckons i'm probably about 600-650 range here with a Procharger P1 stage 2 kit and 2018 manifold. Beat my MGW'd MT-82 and had no issues at all except my flywheel falling apart (though my stock clutch even...
You know it's funny as I had the issue you've posted there after the new clutch and fly wheel went in. The dealer tried the crank relearn twice using their system and I tried it 3 times with the naguge and it couldn't complete. I emailed Lund and got an adjustment to the tune which finally...
Really useful link. Thanks for that. Beginning to think something was damaged like my crank position sensor when they replaced my clutch or the clutch wasn't installed properly.
Please keep us posted on what you find. I have this same issue but i'm Procharged. Was sure it was IMRC based on the exact same symptoms as others so swapped to a 2018 IM with lock outs and deleted the IMRCs. Couldn't find any fault with the stock manifold when it was off but the car ran great...
I asked the Lund team about this and their response was:
"All exhaust items are accounted for with no revision required with our tune loaded. We already shut off Cat Overtemp and there is OE adaptive O2 transport delay for if the O2s get moved aft of stock location. We go ahead and add in a...
In the same boat. I've got the Magnaflow Competition. Deep, loud and a bit of drone at highway cruising speeds (~2500rpm). Getting a set of MAK cat deletes installed soon so ordered a set of the 12" Vibrants from Summit to try and tone it down as i'm expecting it to be too loud and the drone...
Good luck man. I know how it feels with a run of bad luck like that when all you want to do is enjoy the car. Keep at it. Just another hurdle along the modding road. Won't be long and you'll be up and running again.
Congrats on getting her all back together mate. Good to see you back in the saddle.
How are the MPSS working out for you at those power levels? I've been contemplating what to go with next on mine. MPSS, MP4S or something crazy like R888R or MPS Cup 2s.
Lethalperformance are offering a decent BMR package at the moment for a good price. https://www.lethalperformance.com/bmr-suspension-2015-mustang-bread-and-butter-package.html
I've got most of the components in the package with the exception of the toe rods on stock springs and shocks and...
Been tuning with them for almost 3 years now from stock to bolt-ons to supercharger and i've been through Dakota, John Nardi and Jon Jr and they've all been very great, quick to respond and have the car running strong plus helpful diagnosing knock issues.
I'm going down this route so i've read anything related to the 18 IM on this forum as well as FB and any other sources I can find. I'm Procharged so the logical thing is to go with IMRC lockouts and avoid the headaches however one question that hasn't been answered is if lockouts are the best...
Mine's the same. Drives and idles perfect. Since I wrote that post, i've not seen any knock at all but the CEL and codes came back. The irregularity of the knock (there sometimes, not there others) makes me think it could well be the runners. My theory is that they're stuck in one position until...
Damn! Spectrum of emotions just then. Got quite excited when I read the post as this is exactly the same problem i'm having. Felt really good to not be alone in my car troubles...then immediately felt guilty for excitement at your misfortune, then felt sad for you as you're going through the...
