There is nothing official about that site either...
This is the official Nurburgring site. And since they say it is technically not a race track and legally is a toll road they don't keep track of lap times.

I imagine that V6 will put out far more than 600hp. They use that motor in the Ganassi Racing Daytona Prototype cars and they are running 800+ mind you that's a race motor and it will be de-tuned slightly but still. Food for thought!
That wouldn't surprise me one bit. Remember where the GT500 motor came from? The Ford GT. What is the upcoming GT powered by? A 3.5L TT V6. Doesn't seem outside the realm of possibilities to be honest.
Not what I was referring to. That is common practice for the torque numbers key to be different than the hp key
When did they release that and where is the reference for it? If you are referring to Horsepower Kings those guys are the biggest frauds in the car industry and it isn't true.
Man! They are practically in my backyard! I shoot at Miller Motorsports Park all the time. Why am I not there? Oh yeah, invite only... :(
Couple of things though, I can't understand why some of you guys are whining about the power. 526hp and 429lb/ft is pretty respectable. I keep seeing...
Yeah I forgot about the 302R somehow...
The title of the thread says GT350R spied. Leaving one to assume that is what was meant.
I would expect the 302R to live on for another year and the S550 version, whatever they call it, will race in 2016. At least in PWC. They used the FR500S for...
Yeah exactly. I guess what I was getting at is that they aren't a JDM thing, they're a Brembo thing. And yeah, red calipers won't really work on some colors of cars like green for example.
There is not enough wants in this world to describe how much I want one! In that color.
Those of you whining about red brake calipers and calling it a 16 yr old's JDM car, Ferrari has had red calipers long before those 16 yr olds were even born. Long before I was born. And besides, red is...
Since the car was unveiled I think it is safe to say that this is not the GT350R but more likely a mule for the FR500 replacement. Note the click tires, racing wheels, and fully stripped out interior with role cage. I'd say a Continental Tire Sportscar Challenge car.
They are not prototype cars. They sat all in a line at a local dealer for about a week back in November while this one and a red one for the Miller Motorsports Park pace car (replacing a Ford GT!) went to SEMA. The 50th Anniversary parts all had to be removed and sent back to Ford after the...
I'm hoping to get to the LA Auto Show this weekend. I'll be sure to post some legit pics of it. Won't promise they'll be as good as the GT pics I took back in March though. ;)
Its actually easier than you'd think. They have all the 3D renderings they could use from the design team. All the do is animate those. Doesn't take much to make wheels spin and add a background. But yeah I see your point about it being in a warehouse. I recently read an article on camo used...
Wow, the speculative renderings were very close on this one! I imagine it will come out next fall and start between $55-60k. To the criers out there that is still cheaper than the Z28 and I hate to say it, I think the Z28 will still be the king after seeing what journalists had to say with the...
Generally speaking there is a First Drive or First Impression test first which I imagine will come out around then but I highly doubt we'll see a full test done until early spring.
Some have already driven them actually. Have you not seen the videos of the Ecoboost being driven by Car and Driver? I would expect to see first impression drives in print around October and a full test in the spring.
