It's a race car that's going to get smashed and people are bitching about panel fitment. Just don't buy the car is you have such a problem. Go buy a Camaro.
They have to continuously check and change restrictions. For example last year in world challenge at road American, the Kia's were 8MPH faster on the long straigh than the test of the pack. They were passing some of the GT cars. So they were told to turn the boost down. Watching much of the race...
It's all over the place. Full bolt on cars with CJ intakes and fuel are running very well. Lot of guys will fill bolt on Boss 302's running 10.90's as well. A good set up car will go well. You also see guys with Paxton's and 275 kumho sams club special tires running 11.90's at 123.
Ford isn't playing any games. They're anxiously awaiting the responses from internet trolls with the " well that cars junk it can only turn, can't keep up with my supercharger catfish trailer park camaro" and ford will be glad to say "oh really, check this out".
I'm not so sure about that. Countless videos of them going 125-127 stock with nothing done in an average condition (not MIR or ATCO in -3500 DA) and that won't be a far fetched effort for a 350 I believe. It'll be light, we know that, it'll be over 520HP as well. I'm think at least 540-550 is my...
Said to be 3200lbs with over 520 HP also. C6Z with a drag radial alone can go high 10's at 123-125 area in the quarter making 505 HP. How mad are hellcat owners going to be when a GT350R can hang doors with them on the highway or drag racing....in a road race car.
I don't think it'll be that far off. This car is leaps and bounds ahead of the boss 302 and from the real world results I've been seeing, the boss 302 sits right with the C7 and not far off the Z28. I believe R&T had pobst test the 302 along side the GTR and Z28 at barber and the 302 with brake...
Hoping for VIR Track times as they've been flogging the car around the track and have videos out now of it. Would love to see how close it is to the C7Z.
