  1. Crashed my 2020 GT500 CFTP into a Creek High-Speed at the Track! (video)

Thank you sir! Since the above video, I’ve had the car at Ozarks International and COTA. It was good to get right back in the “game.” As for the car, I still need a passenger door and rocker panel. I’m hoping a Rapid Red door pops up eventually.

The torque is not “hard to regulate.”
  3. Crashed my 2020 GT500 CFTP into a Creek High-Speed at the Track! (video)

The super slick video segments in the beginning of the video were all from session #1, which was absolutely greasy snot. The track improved markedly for subsequent sessions. I just spent the weekend ripping around COTA. The ass end slid out on multiple occasions. It happens.
  4. Crashed my 2020 GT500 CFTP into a Creek High-Speed at the Track! (video)

Sorry for the delayed replies… I was at COTA all weekend. Got some interesting info yesterday… I was chatting with an instructor at COTA who also instructs at Cresson (where the above incident happened). The instructor said that area of the track is the problem area as it is the lowest point of...
  5. Crashed my 2020 GT500 CFTP into a Creek High-Speed at the Track! (video)

The car is not totaled. It needed some parts and love in the front and back. That’s all done and good to go. It still could use a passenger door and rocker. I’ve already been back to the track with the car and have another track weekend coming up.
  6. Crashed my 2020 GT500 CFTP into a Creek High-Speed at the Track! (video)

Appreciate the offer. I have ordered and replaced a litany of parts. I was calling my parts guy with what I knew I needed as I was leaving the track. I called him many more times as I broke down the front and rear. I was in a time crunch… crashed on Monday and had a car show, cruise and lunch I...
  7. Crashed my 2020 GT500 CFTP into a Creek High-Speed at the Track! (video)

Track mode, which loosens up nannies.
  8. Crashed my 2020 GT500 CFTP into a Creek High-Speed at the Track! (video)

I bought the parts and did the repairs myself. The parts came in waves as I discovered what was needed, ordered and then arrival delays. I haven’t totaled up all the receipts. It wasn’t cheap though. It was worse than it looked, but could have been soooo much worse.
  9. Crashed my 2020 GT500 CFTP into a Creek High-Speed at the Track! (video)

I join Shelby friends for a track day at MSR Cresson on worn Sport Cup 2 tires, using them one more day before replacing them for an upcoming planned complex track event. It was my 2nd time running the full 3.1 at MSR-C and it had rained prior to our first session, which made it the slickest...
  10. Rear knuckle nut on GT500

Also, for what it’s worth... we did the wheel stud swap on my buddy’s base model. He chose to reuse that nut, which is listed as a one time use item. He has many track days on the car since and hasn’t had an issue.
  11. Rear knuckle nut on GT500

I’m running into similar issues. I had to order a bunch of parts for my CFTP after a mishap. When my parts guy uses my VIN, he has a hard time finding parts for the car. He said Ford’s computer info on these cars is jacked up. I eventually got everything, but it was a hard fought battle. Gary...
  12. Track Attack Wood Plaque

    Love it! Very nice! 🍻
  13. 2020 Shelby GT500 CFTP: bad mama-jama on track filmed in 360! (video)

I join a buddy with his C7 Corvette ZO6 at Motorsports Ranch Cresson Texas for a kick-ass member day captured on multiple cameras including a GoPro 360 max! This give a unique perspective of the 760 hp DCT-equipped bad mama-jama doing its thang at the track! You’ll see excitement as a car...
  14. Stripes dimensions

My factory painted stripes are exactly 18 cm wide. Spaced exactly 1-1/4 inches apart.
  15. 2020 Shelby GT500 CFTP Kick Ass Track Day Filmed in 360! (video)

They last longer than you’d expect, but yes, add them to the expenses list.
  16. 2020 Shelby GT500 CFTP Kick Ass Track Day Filmed in 360! (video)

Thank you sir! As for costs… expect to drain the tank every 20-25 minutes. You can make it 30 minutes if you aren’t sticking your foot in it. I expect to drain the tank every 20-25 minute session. Bigger tracks like COTA will absolutely suck the tank dry in 20 minutes flat. Tires… if you are...
  17. 2020 Shelby GT500 CFTP Kick Ass Track Day Filmed in 360! (video)

I join other local GT500s/GT350s for an amazing day with my 2020 Shelby GT500 CFTP at Eagles Canyon Raceway with The Driver's Edge. As a first-timer with TDE, they put me in their intermediate group to start. They do not allow intermediate drivers to use Hoosier R7 tires, so I was on Sport Cup...
  18. 2022 Gt500 Production Numbers?

For whatever reason, Ford hasn’t even released the 2020 numbers! 🤷‍♂️
  19. 2020 GT500 Adjustable camber recomendations?

Depends on how much tracking you do with your car and how aggressively you attack the corners, but you might want more negative camber than what the limited OEM plate can offer. I wanted -3+, which has significantly improved my front tire wear. Here was my solution:
