Windage tray is integrated into the composite pan. It is near identical to the tray that is integrated into the Gen 2/Gen 4 pan gasket.
The tray on the left was from the Gen 3 pan, I had to drill out the plastic holding it to the pan to allow the pan to sit flat on the bench.
So overall going with the Gen 4 pan with net a steel oil pan with same capacity as the composite pan. It will require the add the Gen 4 oil pump and pickup to get the correct oil pickup to pan clearance. Will also need to use Gen 2/4 oil pan gasket.
Measurements to best of my ability. Pan heights does not include gasket/windage tray thickness to be fair with measuring height of Gen 3 pan on the same flat surface.
Gen 2 Pan:
Rear sump height- 6 9/16”
Front pan height- 2 7/16”
Pickup to deck height- 6 1/2”
Gen 3 Pan:
Rear sump height- 7”...
I havent forgotten about this, all of the parts finally arrived to start getting measurements and photos. should finish up over the weekend. So far the '24 pump, pan and pickup will fit the Gen3 motors. You would need to swap out everything as a package though, the Gen 3 oil pump port is larger...
I really like the ZL1 tow hook, orange and some nice contrast. Working on getting a second cover painted for it now. Drilled a hole for a nice, clean fit.
The wheel offset is different than the Mach 1 standard and HP wheels. They are the GT350 offset. Once I get them mounted I'll get some photos.
Collecting more parts, the pile is ever growing. MM M1R wheels 19x11/19x11.5, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires 305/325 30R19, Gulfcoast 1 piece driveshaft, MP concepts GT500 sideskirts, HP fender flares, HP spoiler, HP lower splitter, Auto Authority Spare tire kit, ZL1 tow hook, Clear taillights...
You are correct. The 2024 pan arrived today. I’m still waiting on the Gen2 and Gen4 pickups. Once the arrive I will get measurements and compare everything. If the pickups are the same depths/height I would see where Gen 3 guys could use the Gen 3 to Gen 2 swap pickup tube from PBH. I have one...
I am also looking at switching my Mach to a steel pan. The 2024 pan does have the same 10qt capacity as the composite. The pickup tube is different than the Gen 2 from information I have collected, 3mm larger at the pump stub. The part number from Ford crosses to 2022 GT500 pickup. When the 2024...
Same here, and I dont want to bland out everything black or use Twister Orange everywhere too.
I need to call Prismatic when I get a chance, I got the color swatch yesterday and its a little dark. I want to check with them and see if the swatch was also cleared over as there application...
Has anyone used Prismatic Powders FJG PSS-11344? I just received my BMR jacking rails and not a fan of the black vein coating, going to try and coat to match my car.
