That TTS is the cutting edge of face melting speed and refinement. Then you got a brute in the 350R. A sledge hammer and a high-powered laser. I'd say you got a nice combo there!
Does the PDI not involve removing shipping blocks from the suspension? If not I think I'm going to do the same thing. Straight to the detailer and I can spend some quality time with the car installing the splitter myself.
Which is why the GT4 is a better car all around but then again, its a Porsche, its from Stuttgart, has GT in the name and is mid-engine. How could it possibly not be better? lol
I tried to get a GT4 for $84k (sticker) but couldn't. I'm ok with that now as I think I'd have wanted LWB's on it.
My '17 is scheduled to arrive at my dealer 24AUG. To recap:
Ordered 17JUN
Received VIN 18JUL
Built week of 01AUG
This has gone so much smoother and faster than I thought.
I think the interior of a CHU and of a McLaren are quite a bit different. I've spent a lot of time living in CHU's and tents in southwest asia. I'd take a 570S as housing any day!
@PP001
I've driven two 2013 BOSS 302's and they are so much fun! Not underpowered, not overpowered, they've got just enough power to thrill but not enough to frighten. The side exit exhausts open up and that "Road Runner" motor screams music while the car doesn't threaten you for going making...
What I don't like about this is AWD is just a lazy way of getting speed and an attempt that never works at hiding weight.
The only thing keeping a rear wheel drive car from running 10's in the quarter is clever engineering.
I think Jamal Hameedi is a very clever engineer so IMO they'll hit all...
Probably a 997 GT3 RS 4.0 if I had ever driven it.
I had the opportunity to buy a 2011 GT3 RS 3.8 CPO with 9,000 miles for $139k back in 2012 and I didn't take it. I think that car is worth north of $200k now. Doh!
lol @ the comments. $10k over is a steal right now.
Congrats, OP! Glad to see a fellow North Carolinian with an R. Do you go to Cars and Coffee Raleigh? I'd love to check your ride out in the coming months!
Congrats again.
17 June is the day I signed and emailed the buyers offer to my sales advisor. My deposit was wired a few days later. On paper, my "requested delivery date" is 23 December! I almost backed out just because of that but they assured me I'd take delivery on "October at the latest".
