Would send some pics and a brief summary to Carbon Revolution. I was given the impression they cannot be 'patched' if the damage is to the thermal barrier coating because it is a plasma application process. But definitely give them a holler to discuss your specific situation.:thumbsup:

Hey Tom - I didnt get clear guidelines from Ford but the warrantor raised no issues whatsoever with my claim given the gouge went all the way thru the thermal barrier coating (edit)--> AND it was damaged by a road hazard. I think this is key as it is a 'Road Hazard' warranty. Curbing the wheel...

That's a great price Tom...I paid $1800 for 5yr TireCare. Claim for the CF wheel replacement was $3200 so it has more than paid for itself.

Hmm....maybe if the bottom and the top were both CF. Would balance it out.

I interpreted OP is worried about car having sat thru the storm and gotten damaged in some way that a less than honest dealer/seller may attempt to cover up.

Beautiful car man! Wish you all the best in getting a sweet deal on a Vette. Z06 and R were the last 2 contenders in my shopping. The Shelby name and exclusivity of the R is what won out in the end...but I did use the performance edge of the Z06 to help drive down the ADM I paid on the R :)

I'm not too worried about seeing coolant level unless issues with it are as common as oil level....hasn't seemed that way with the Rs. Dealer will see the car every 6mos like clockwork. The mishimoto tank is growing on me....think I saw it very recently in 50Deep build thread. Will add it...
