Thanks.
19's is mostly a compromise between function and aesthetics, and given the weight of 21lb it's something I considered. I'm not a fan of 18s but at this point I'm settling for them to keep the weight down.
Hey all,
Looking for some input and suggestions regarding what I should do to prep my car for tracking (lapping) in 2017 season.
A bit of a background:
- Daily racecar
- I drive agressively
- Been lapping once ever
- Trying to get into lapping, but hesitant to buy lots of things in...
Thanks gents.
Are there wheels that look like Advan GTs or Work CR2P (step lip) but don't break the bank? I absolutely understand why the above mentioned wheels are so expensive, but I'm not ready for that kind of purchase yet.
As for M350 wheels, I considered it, but looks wise it's not...
Hey all,
As it's winter season here over the wall, it's time to switch up the shoes for the car. I was running 20" Niche Targa before and loved the way they looked. As I started getting into drag and road racing, I started to value wheel weight more and more.
Currently I'm on the hunt for a...
I saw something similar on a BRZ last year and it didn't look like a custom work. The rear part used a suction cup type of mount and the front part used the regular roof rack clips.
Right, I caught that...but my question still stands as it's not clear:
I was under the impression that base models' bumpers are all one piece? So how would I install this without cutting it out?

I used to use 6th gear a lot. I drive mainly on the highway (30-40 km) and cared a lot about using this opportunity to improve my mpg in 6th gear. However, in the evening where I drive is always busy and I found myself downshifting to 5th a lot and staying under 3k RPM.
A handheld tuner allows you to upload tunes (files) on the device and flash your ECU with them.
- Tuner device by default has 5 unlocks (married/unmarried status)
- When you flash your car (upload tunes) you "marry" the tuner device to your car via VIN and other parameters it reads off the...
I use 6th gear + cruise control at 115+ km/h. Ideally at 2.1k+ RPM (120+ km/h). Below 2k RPM drone is inevitable.
If it's really trafficky I tend to drive in 5th gear until I hit 3k RPM, then I go 6th if I know I won't need to slow down.
That diffuser does look good, but I wouldn't order something like that from a random China company.
US based company. Actually functional design, although not the prettiest one.
