  1. Flow One Wheels

I didn’t buy the 18’s. I bought the same S350 wheels in 19x10 and put on a 275/40 tire and the ride quality has been greatly improved. They are on sale at LMR for $650 and you can’t beat the price!
  2. Flow One Wheels

Thanks for the great info @kent0464. I May contact them to do the test fit. I wouldn’t mind having to run a small spacer up front for clearance.
  3. Flow One Wheels

Does anyone have any experience with Flow One wheels found on Tire Rack? I am looking to run an affordable, square setup with a little taller sidewall than my current setup. Current setup is an SVE S350 in 20x10 with a 275/35R20 tire. The Flow One F3 is a 9.5X18 wheel with a 38 offset and i...
  4. Can someone explain my timing?

Don’t get me wrong, I am not assuming there is an issue. I only want to understand what I am looking at. I was hoping to that there was someone here who could share their expertise with me without having to bug the tuner with a “dumb question” but I get it, the tuner is going to be the best...
  5. Can someone explain my timing?

Do you think it’s a mechanical issue or a something I should address with the tuner?
  6. Can someone explain my timing?

Sorry, I forgot to to mention that IMRC’s have been deleted and locked out.
  7. Can someone explain my timing?

I recently requested a tune revision from Lund for an '18 manifold and LU47's. Lund gave me a no-flex base tune to get started and after providing them with a log after install, they gave me a flex and e85R tune to test. At this time I am still on the no-flex base tune because I have a question...
  8. New clutch, now hard going into 1st

Good Morning, I am happy to report that the issues I was having has been fixed with the new kit. I had a local shop install the new clutch kit Exedy sent me and it seemed to resolve the issue. The local shop did a great job on the work. They allowed me to be a part of the process and kept me...
  9. New clutch, now hard going into 1st

Sorry to hear about your troubles. My car has been sitting for over 2 weeks. I am afraid of driving it as is and further damaging something. My issue started after I installed my clutch/shifter and worked perfectly before the install. I am hoping the new kit fixes the issue. If i have to pull it...
  10. New clutch, now hard going into 1st

I sent the video over to Bill. He said the dimple is in the dust boot and would not have any affect on the cylinder. Bill still feels that there is a hydraulic issue or possible damage to the cover during shipping that would cause it to lift unevenly and not fully disengage. The MGW is obviously...
  11. New clutch, now hard going into 1st

So I bled the brakes, then vacuum pumped the clutch and it did improve some but did not eliminate the problem. The clutch is not full disengaging when I press in the clutch, and I can actually feel it. When looking through the inspection holes, I noticed there is a weird wrinkle in the TB. I’m...
  12. New clutch, now hard going into 1st

Bill wants me to bleed the brakes as well since they are part of the same system. If bleeding the full system does not work then we’ll look at replacing the slave. Interestingly, (per his suggestion) I held the brake pedal down and slow pumped the clutch and it actually went into 1st with much...
  13. New clutch, now hard going into 1st

Thanks. I don’t have any issues going into 1st when the car is off so I’m not sure it’s the same. Can you confirm that you had the same issue as me when you adjusted the reverse lockout pin?
  14. New clutch, now hard going into 1st

Thank you! Bill was quick to respond and gave me a few more things to check before pulling it apart.
  15. New clutch, now hard going into 1st

Well I tried vacuum bleeding from the slave, then pre-filled the clutch line. Vacuum bled the clutch line. Reattached it to the reservoir, then bled it from the cap. Didn’t improve (or make it worse). The shop said they bled before installing so all I’m left with is pulling it apart. Could it...
  16. New clutch, now hard going into 1st

Makes sense. The issue on these cars is there isn’t an external bleed screw on the slave (the lowest part of the system). What I’m learning is the slave needs to be pre-bled (bench bled) when installed to minimize trapped air. Then the rest of the air can be bled using the vacuum or pedal pump...
  17. New clutch, now hard going into 1st

All very good points. I’m working today but I am going to try your bleeding suggestion this evening. I’m the meantime, I will think of a good way to propose the question to the installer.
  18. New clutch, now hard going into 1st

I am not sure but I’m going to ask
  19. New clutch, now hard going into 1st

That is exactly what is happening
  20. New clutch, now hard going into 1st

Thanks for the info. Just to ease concerns, I am not driving it around forcing it into gear. Other things to mention is the car has a ss clutch line and the master cylinder was replaced less than a year ago. When the car is off, I can press in the clutch and go into any gear. To me it seems...
