Finally after a year of dealing with annoying sync pop-ups with every start, and 50 attempts with the help desk to resolve, I finally left my ā18 at the dealership for a week to update to the latest Sync version. It feels like I got a new car when I got it back.

I grin ear to ear driving across town on 35 mph roads with the top down in Track exhaust mode... Fastest point to point Vehicle in town without breaking the speed limit. 80% of my driving is on 35mph roads and doubt tires make it to 20K miles.

I always wondered why the old farts bought those clanky old muscle cars at those fancy auto auctions when they could have the brilliance and power of a modern day V-8 with a modern suspension and modern transmission. Now I see why I will become that next generation of old fart at the auction.

I bought a mint used 2018 and has an old Sync 3 build. I get the pop ups and is driving me crazy. I tried the USB update and my Sync gets in a whacky loop of changing screens and keeps recycling and recycling but doesnāt actually update. After quite some time on the phone with the help desk...
My convertible Mustang was the first car I ever started backing into my garage. An ā18 with Active Exhaust. A side benefit... keep the top down and cold start and I think Iām in a You Tube video with the camera shoved up to the tail pipe. The garage shakes. Awesome! :muscle:
High end major brand synthetic oils come with a balanced additive package. Add more of one additive it is to the detriment of another. Many decades of testing and real world use in billions of car miles to land on the current cocktail. Want more horsepower from some additive? Great, but risk...
