There is a small amount of stretch, but it isn't bad at all. Those are firehawk 275/35/19 on mine. 10 inch rear. I chose that route because (autocross) you tend to roll onto the sidewall a lot, and this way you are rolling into tire tread more than flexing sidewall.

To a point I can agree. If it is a scratch or nick that I put on the car its one thing, but damage someone else puts onto the car I am not OK with.
