Thanks. Seems to confirm my suspicion that other Stang owners don't generally wave. I would think they do, just like Vette owners do.
Now, I'm still baffled by the purposeful "blind eye" treatment.
That's too bad. You think that after all these years, they would have found a solution for this. And I'm not talking about breaking the laws of physics. I'm talking about ways around it. Years ago people thought that you can't bring ground water into buildings. Well, look what happened. :)
You would think that with the advances in technology that this "common" problem will be fixed. I asked the question because my assumption is that with the millions put into R&D that it would. Seems like it hasn't.
I guess I was thinking more in line with vehicles that have distinctive characteristics. Wranglers, bikers, MINIs, etc. Yeah, Accords and Camry's probably don't fit what I am thinking.
Or, maybe it's just a normal thing with all cars of the category I'm making up. Maybe the Wranglers...
haha. I guess I started this thread wondering what the general behavior has been. I guess it's slowly turning into complaints about others not waving. Not my intention. I just find the "i'm ignoring that guy" behavior odd.
If your parents have the radio and it doesn't happen on theirs, then isn't this a Ford issue and not Sirus?
I'm just trying to see if this is Sirus or Ford. I've never had Sirus, and my friends that do have it as an aftermarket add on (like a pod that they attach on some place in their...
Is anyone else having this problem:
Going under an overpass relatively slowly while listening to Sirus, connection is gone until you get out of the overpass. This happens when you drive under the overpass or driving through it. You don't get this problem driving through at highway speed...
This is what I mean. They try not to look. Other "rival" cars actually make a point to look or make a gesture.
On your point with Wrangler and MINI... I think with a distinctive car like that that fellow owners will wave. The Wrangler and a MINI are good examples of this. Because the car...
It's interesting to hear that many people are experiencing the same thing I am -- other Stang drivers ignoring them. Now, I am not saying that they should wave or something. What I am saying is that they are purposing ignoring that my car is there. One example I gave was a Shelby purposely...
