Hi Chuck. I know you are very invested in securing the painted OTT stripes on your order. During your discussions with the folks up the chain, did you happen to confirm whether or not that option is available on the base variant?

About as nonsensical as the over the top vinyl stripe option being $1k on the GT500 and $495 on the GT350...or...$1k for the CF dash on the GT500 and $500 for the GT350. The short answer...because they can.

When people who "ordered" the CFTP are told they have to change to a base or wait because the dealer was not awarded that spec...disappointment will ensue.

Understood. The issue is, the dealers have not officially been awarded a definitive allocation of Base or CFTP units...yet. So even if you are #1 in line at your dealer and ordered a CFTP unit, there is no guarantee that dealer will be awarded that vehicle spec at the moment. Make sense?
