So did I. I think it's just a ploy to hold off the 2018s arriving early.
Waiting on my dealer to phone back now and I have the quote from Ford through C2C to discuss. I'm not going to cancel but will see if I can get anything off the rrp. The APR is 5.9% over 3 years, which is what it always...
Had an email from my dealer saying that the vehicle is now in Zeebrugge. However ford have put a delay on 2018s as a tow hook needs to be put on.
It was none available in current batch of orders meaning a 6-9 month wait for any car specced with Magneride. Just not sure I can wait that long even for 3k off.
Just had a phone call from Gordon and he was saying that the pcp finance can only be the standard 3 years as thats what Ford offers. Also there are no magneride cars available and it would be 6-9 months for my order to come through.
Mine is here in about a month but I've even asked for a quote. A £3400 saving off list is just too much of a saving, not to mention the mods it can buy. If they are indeed legit then I will be in all probability cancelling my order and going through c2c. I've waited this long, what's an extra...
You do know the average wage in the UK is around 26k. If you didn't eat, drive, live somewhere or go anywhere then maybe you'd be able to save up that money quickly. Otherwise you're looking at a bloody long time to save up and buy with cash.
It was exactly like that for me when I test drove the 2016. Before we'd left the dealer I'd already told the salesman he had a sale for sure.
Now I'm just hanging around for my 2018 to arrive at the end of March. I'm so fucking excited that every prick is sick of listening to me go on.
Have a look at MBNA. They are doing a 5yr money advance card at 4.9% just now. I have managed to save £17500 for my deposit, with a 3.1% sainsburys loan for most of the remainder. What's left will go on the MBNA card and will be paid off asap. Sure beats the 5.9% Ford are offering on the 2018.
No. They ask you to fill out details online following the dealer filling in certain details for you. Not too bothered now but was pissed off at the time.
Will have my own insurance organised anyway
Very strange. I didn't even bother ringing them to find out. Haven't been declined for anything since my early 20s so just wanted to see how others got on.
So I had through an email today offering the 7 day drive away insurance on my 2018. Did the quote online and was declined for it (Who knows why?). However, they were kind enough to quote me a years cover at £3546 which I think is a little steep.
My own insurance company LV have already...
