That's exactly what happened to my wife an me on Thursday Oct 30th We saw my mustang go down western ave in front of our place it was on the trailer with 5 other Ruby Red fords. We followed the carrier into the dealer ship 2 miles away!
  2. Snow tires for the GT or buy a AWD beater?

I have a feeling by next spring there will be more Mustang GT's looking like that Ruby Red GT that the 16 year old kid test drove on the Ruby Red thread...

  4. Snow tires for the GT or buy a AWD beater?

Lol, my wife has a 2013 Subaru outback, in the winter in Vermont it's either a Subaru or a 4x4 pickup truck..not counting the out of state cars that come to the ski areas on the weekend hard to tell those brands when they are upside down in the ditch.. As the local tow company says :)
  5. Mustang Color Please Help

I agree, especially when most cars on the road are already grey . Mine is Ruby Red and is stunning in the sunlight.
  6. Snow tires for the GT or buy a AWD beater?

Hell, nothing stops me in the winter I put Trelleborg spike tires on my 11' KTM 690 Enduro and ride all over:thumbsup:
  7. Snow tires for the GT or buy a AWD beater?

I've been driving in the snow every winter for 36 years never had an accident. Mostly all of the winter accidents I see here are people from lower New England states and areas that get a lot of snow but are maintained by big city budgets. In those 36 years of driving I've never seen a...
  8. Snow tires for the GT or buy a AWD beater?

I hear you, we didn't get 8 feet of snow in Vermont last year but the twisty off camber roads would be a Bitch to drive on in a mustang. Again it depends on if your winter driving is the outskirts of a major city too. The roads are not plowed to frequent around here and no matter how much you...
  9. Snow tires for the GT or buy a AWD beater?

Get a Subaru for winter, my 15' mustang is in storage now until my garage is built. I'm not spending $40,000 on a car and using it in the winter ..GEEEZZ!! You can get a Subaru on auto trader with 170,000 miles for the same price as those winter tires you are thinking about. I have been...
  10. Got to ride passenger in a Black PP GT, question about tranny choice

It all depends on what part of the country you live in also there are no local drag strips around me the closest one is Epping NH. This new mustang is perfect for the roads in New England because unlike most city buyers their only option is driving in waffle patterns from stop light to stop...
  11. Odometer Miles at Pickup

Mine had 4.5 miles when I took delivery last Saturday. With a full tank of premium!!
  12. Got to ride passenger in a Black PP GT, question about tranny choice

Agreed, you can't even order a F-150 with a manual trans I find that shocking. My left leg and right arm get bored when the only option is auto. What's next cars that drive themselves and we just sit in them and do nothing? Boring!!
  13. The wrecked 15 MY thread

I have hit 5 deer in vehicles since 1979 a deer dented the hood of my 76' Scirocco though in 1989 I did $1800 damage to my 86 Ranger when one jumped in front of me when I was going 65. I also killed two of them in my 93' Ranger. it' a constant threat here in Vermont.
  14. Got to ride passenger in a Black PP GT, question about tranny choice

The salesman can't drive manual for sh-t bottom line. I've never owned an automatic trans vehicle since I got my drivers license in 1977. My 15 6 speed mustang is flawless in the shifting department.
  15. My first mustang!

Damn, my wife payed $1400 a year in NY state last year on a 13' Subaru outback with never a ticket or accident . When we married in September she moved to Vermont we combined our cars Subaru, f-150, 15 mustang, 11 KTM 690 Enduro R full coverage for $1500 a year through Gieco. Of course I'm 55...
  16. 3.55s or 3.73s

I love the 3:73 gears I live in Vermont and the roads here are fantastic for driving after they are repaired from winter that is. I only drive on the Hi-way for 2 miles anyway the off camber twisty roads here are perfect for the IRS also.
