I did long tubes and katless and the car ran better as far as cruising and getting up to speed, I did mine prior to the super charger, I’m sure elevations may have something to do with noticing any difference, I’m on the gulf coast and about 12ft above sea level and around 1100da in summer

Mine stock with headers did make a drivable difference for the better, of course mine was with no cats and that may have had more effect,but I definitely felt a difference

WATER, nobody has mentioned that maybe the restriction is more from keeping rain or or splashing water from entering, sure let’s have some sort of cool air but let’s not let much water or debris get into the intake, I have removed the restriction from my stock grill and haven’t had any driving...

Maybe add some non ethanol fuel with some octane boost to soak up some of the higher ethanol content in the tank

The stock hood as it is with the insulation is rt up against the super charger lid so that definitely doesn’t help circulate air. Of course hot air rises and exiting from the hood vents make sense but it also brings with it hotter air from headers and the engine itself so it not doing much for...

Don’t see much info on how well a ram air hood helps to cool down the top of the super charger while driving, any advice on this?

Check the pulleys and there is one of the idler pulleys that is very very close to the casting behind it, most likely a easy fix

I have a still new in the box heat exchanger from my Vmp Loki kit, I upgraded to the bigger heat exchanger because of where I live, if interested lmk.

I use Driven, 5w20, and now 5w50 due to the super charger.

I’ll use the pre measurements if I have them but I like to actually hold it in place and make a mark to cut so that I’m sure I got a visual idea

I have a Banks pedal Monster in my 19 GT a10 and I leave it in D and can adjust it accordingly and it’s very responsive, makes driving more enjoyable without going to sport mode and then having stretch out shift points. I’ll be installing a Vmp kit soon and will see how it works

Mine went waaay up too, I went to Hagerty since it’s not a daily use vehicle, cost is 95sh per month and when I add my supercharger kit I’ll let them know and the price will go up about 5 dollars per month.

I ordered a set of TSP headers yesterday and will receive them today, the company is only 3 hrs away so can’t beat the delivery time lol, I think I’ll install the headers and drive it a little before I begin the Vmp kit.

I live in s tx it’s about the same environment as yours hot and humid lol
