Shawn, I had also had the clunk in my car. A set of steeda diff bushings along with the IRS braces pretty much took care of it.Much more solid now. I would recommend that route and it doesn't cost much. I did have the bushings installed for 85 bucks and I put the braces on myself. I'm perfectly...
Not that it really matters, I ran with an 03 Terminator and a 16' Scat Pack. The Scat Pack was in the mirror and I was pulling the Terminator.
Disclaimer: Termi is stock with cold jlt air intake. Fresh tune up with 11k on the clock.
It does but no biggie. OP, if you want a little more down low and a significant increase in midrange then I recommend the PP2. Well worth it and you can install it yourself in no time at all.
I had all the issues with rev hang and this and that but the revised tune cleaned all of that up and...
I have the PP2 on my car and I think it's great, now that I have the new tune. The old tune was good too but, there was room for improvement. I have not had any other tunes.
I finally got to drive the car. No more rev hang at all so that is nice and the overall throttle is smoother. Car still pulls good and I did notice a little more pop while cruising and shifting than before. This revision is definitely better than the first.
Screen Shots
Yeah this thread is crazy. I forgot to add the screenshots I took. The one showing 12v is before I started. The other 2 are after the flash and me starting the car.
I loaded the new tune earlier this morning. I had a chat session with FP and they said to simply plugin and download then flash. Everything went smooth but I have not driven the car yet. Just wanted to make sure it started with no issues. So far so good. Still have the TB slam.
Can anyone provide a step by step for the refresh? It looks like all I need to do is plugin, flash to stock and then download and re-flash? Any caveats?
I installed the PP2 this afternoon. Everything went smoothly with the install and the tune. I can hear the throttle plate on shutdown and I do have the rev hang but it's only above 3k and it really isn't that bad. The car definitely has more power and rev's higher. Not sure how high though as I...
rsmustangjr16 How are you liking the bushings? Do you feel much difference? I have them sitting in my pile of parts waiting to be installed.
To me it was a very noticeable difference. The diff doesn't move as much and I no longer have the thud when shifting. Coupled with the Steeda IRS...
