Take the money that you would spend on the 350 and drop a FI kit on it, Steeda or BMR suspension setup and a E85 tune with the supercharger/turbos of your choice. (Go turbos)
The Gen3 Coyote is a amazing engine for the money. Having drove both I personally don't understand the massive hype on...
This is some what true... but DA MURDERS my Alfa Quad and its twin turbo. A 3k+ DA will make me lose like .4 seconds easy. Although it is only working with 2.9L of displacement.
Get rid of the cats if you are going to keep it boosted. Tune will take care of the check engine light due to no cats.
Every tuner I have talked to knows of multiple people who lost entire engines due to cat failure on boosted cars.
Go boost and e85, no cats.
Looks like he was mistaken and the restrictive airflow was coming from somewhere else. Probably that larger carbon filter in the front.
The tune for the 21 and 22 is different. I know he said the fuel mapping was a lot different.
This for sure plays a part. If you look on Ford Performances website there is a completely different part number for the 22 Stage 2 supercharger kit. The other gen3s share the same part number I believe.
I spoke with one of the guys at Ford Performance and he said that it is due to numerous...
I actually do not own a Camaro lol.
2 Mustang GTs. 1 twin turbo drag setup and 1 I am building as a track car.
Also a Alfa Romeo Quadraflio E85 tuned, headers, CAI.
I realize I am most likely pissing in the wind on a Mustang forum but I do not see how you have that order.
ZL1 1LE > GT500 > SS 1LE > GT350
The SS 1LE is punching way above its weight class. It is a insane car for the money and track times.
Those are the published times by the manufacturers... I highly doubt they are going to post some open track day and make their high end model cars look bad.
38 is a GT350R that is behind a SS 1LE.
I was shooting the shit with him about my Alfa Quad about lapping a 350. Obviously its not true but they do share the same NĂĽrburgring times. Both ran a 7:32. One just happens to be a 4 door sedan lol.
I love the Mustang line up I really do. The looks on...
Lol the 350r has 3 seconds on a 4 door sedan and lost to a SS 1LE...
Please let's not get ahead of ourselves. Also the 350 and the QV are tied on the Nuremberg. The 350R would beat it I'm sure though.
Can't tell if this is a troll or someone who ate a lot of lead paint.
I have a 4 door sedan that would lap that thing lol
I love the Mustang line up but let's not pretend it's the end all be all of cars. It's a Mustang.
Same here man. I pushed a stock gen 3 to its limits for like a year. If I had replaced the oil pump gears I would probably still be on it.
But I was planning a engine swap anyways so went the cheap ass route and ran the stock motor until they gave out. It lasted wayyyy longer than I thought it...
Well yea I will give you that. I still think its going to be 40-60HP gains max with a tune that is going to last. What you linked is someone spending 3 or 4 times the amount of money OP is.
Sure you could get more out of it if you wanted but you would be really stressing the stock OPGs and...
I fucking love that car. Headers, CAI and a E85 tune from Ideal Race and I am pushing 600 rwhp in a 4 door sedan with a 6 cylinder.
Not to mention the stock exhaust with headers sounds insane.
For what it's worth I switched over my Quadraflio from 93 to E85 just by getting it super super low and adding 5 gallons of E85.
Then drove it on the dedicated E85 tune to the store the fill up. But drove it like I was 100 years old and blind.
After the fill up I still went pretty easy on...
Did you read that article? Do you see how many supporting mods they did in addition to some dyno numbers I am pretty skeptical about.
They are claiming near a 100 hp increase with stock cams and stock intake.
I'm not saying he cannot reach those numbers by doing work to it but if he plans on...
