I just had a thought for you track guys and I realize track/carving corners is way different than mostly city or highway driving.
What if you track guys measure your tread depth at your standard track pressure, do your track day and then remeasure. You could then tweak your pressure and pickup...
Yes, this is true, and by writing the depth down at the start you can keep that relationship as the tire wears, if you like.
I'm talking best/longest wear, not so much performance.
The placards and tables are all generic, not specific. Just like each tire is different, each tire...
Here's how I do it. Start with the Mustang placard tire pressure on a new set of tires. Measure tread depth all along the width of the tire, write that down. After some mileage, remeasure tread depth and then compare to what you wrote down. If the middle tread depth wear is greater than the...
Buy a tread depth gauge, check your tire tread depth regularly across the width and adjust pressure accordingly.
275/35/20 F=30 psi, 305/35/20 R=27psi seem to be the normal setting for these tires on my Mustang GT. G-Force comp-2 A/S BF Goodrich.
I will adjust the psi, up or down, depending...
They are sweet!
I've already put 11k on my 4 mo. old GT, "purrs like a kitten." OK, a lion and not one problem.
I'm retired and need a supercharger like I need "a hole in the head," but I may have to after the warranty runs out. We'll see, I don't have anything better to do.
I'm 70 years old and all I want from my Mustang is to drive down the road fast or slow with the active exhaust on track, while picking my nose. My auto GT with all the buzzers and bells allows me to do that.
The 350 would be tougher to do and I might get a booger on the stick shift!
Took delivery of my 2019 GT PP1 at the end of March and the only issue has been a B&O door speaker quit working.
Just got back from MT, CO, and TX. My Mustang has 10500 miles and no oil burn, purrs like a kitten.
I opted for all the options, they seem to work as advertised.
I couldn't be...
What amazes me is a dip stick measures oiI. It,s been that way since I drove a 31 Model A in high school. That may be problem. If it's in the hatch marked area I'm GTG. Jesus, it's not rocket science, but what do I know?
Unless you have a leak or a worn out motor it is not going any where...
Do you run in stereo or surround? Seems like the image is always centered and my right ear is having to do most of the work. Guys have talked about disconnecting the center speaker, I might have to do that.
This. I agree 100%, I did the exact same thing and I'm not impressed. I think I will call Crutchfield to see what they have to offer. The whole system is less than crisp and clean, just fuzzy and non descript.
I just noticed your sticker does not say "special order" in the box just above and a little to the right of the border date. I went to look at mine and it has "special order," so there is that.
Whatever that means. I just know that every time the tracker changed, the date on my sticker had...
So it does mean a status change when your date changes. My dealer just called me and said the train was in at the Winston-Salem rail yard.
They are suppose to load it on the truck and deliver post haste, so this week. I'm excited now!
