Just had the Hertz Mille tweeters installed in the a pillar without any issues. They even have the stock plastic molding on top. new tweeters are 1.14" in diameter.
Just thought I'd let everyone know that the Hertz Mille MPK Pro 163.3 fit in the door without any issues. The tweeters fit in the A-pillar in the stock location behind the plastic molding. Tweeters are 1.14" in diameter.
Floydbanks28 on DIY Audio mentioned the following, "
Also to get rid of the the engine noise shit, you can just unplug a connector that is located under the headliner towards the middle of the roof, there are plenty of youtube videos on this.".
I called the 800 #. I some to a rep named Tyler who is supposed to call me back when one of his techs run my VIN. l'll update you once I hear from them.

The link will take you to a location to buy an ACM programmer that will set your ACM to a flat eq level. This will also eliminate the time delay in the speakers that is sent out...
I was on their website but I don't see the option to specify that I have the Shaker Pro. The video shows that there is a second programmer required but I don't get the option for the second programmer on their site. The programmer that is there specifies that its for the base system.
Do I need the programmer if I'm keeping the OEM HU and using an Audio control DQ-61? I'm going to install 2 amps. Would I gain anything from buying and using the programmer after my install is complete?
I'm glad you're enjoying it. I was underwhelmed. My son's 2016 Fusion SE sounds way better and is significantly louder than my Shaker Pro. I get my new system installed on Wednesday. Super excited!
Does anyone know what the maximum speaker depth that will fit in our doors for the 6.5" and 3.5" is?
What is the max diameter tweeter size for the A-pillar?
Thank you.
