  1. Why would you buy a USED Mustang?

Was lucky with my 2019 GT350. Had 1,900 miles, and top and underneath was in 100% perfect condition. Couldn't tell it from a new car. They had it on a lift as I requested, prior to examing prior to purchase. Also, got it for an excellent price of $58K. Happened to buy it when prices were at...
  2. Mustang Photograph of the Month Contest – January 2023

Lucky enough, as well as an honor, for Pete Brock, designer of the Cobra Daytona Coupe, beating Ferrari for the World Sports Car Championship, stopped by the KONI booth at SEMA and commented that my 1965 #383 GT350 was one of the best restorations he had seen. Later saying the same after seeing...
  3. Anyone else happy not to drive their mustang and just look at it?

Not remotely close to the s&p500 - far beyond
  4. Anyone else happy not to drive their mustang and just look at it?

Wrong, just look into my garage ! People said the same when I purchaes a 1967 Corvette, black/black, red stinger, roadster, 427/435hp, side pipe, all original, very rare as no one bought black cars prior, around 1989. In 1990 cars dropped like a rock. Everyone told me what a fool I was. Sold it...
  5. Anyone else happy not to drive their mustang and just look at it?

Lucky enough to enjoy just looking at my two 1965 Shelby GT350's (one being a low two digit Venice car, and the other a never restored/never shown car prior to my ownership), and immensely enjoy driving (and looking at) my 2019 Shelby GT350.
  6. Traded my ‘19 Bullitt for a ‘22 Civic Si!

Dissapointingly the GT500 is way too heavy. A shame since the concept overall is very cool. Went with a GT350 instead with the rev happy/fabulous sounding Voodoo engine (didn't buy it for 0-60 activities). Wish the GT500 wasn't 700 lbs heavier than my Corvette C7 Z06. You don't want to compare...
  7. FedEx Shipping…can’t be just me?!?!

This is my second response to my earlier one on this subject. In that response I said that UPS & FedEx are disasters, orders of magnitude wsorse than anything from USPS> This morning I called a large bank, regarding their sending me an important document - with the question, "where the hxxx is...
  8. FedEx Shipping…can’t be just me?!?!

My experience is FedEx and UPS are far worse than the USPS. FedEx & UPS frequently cannot find addresses. USPS gets it right. Plus, to add insult to injury FedEx and UPS are often noticeably more expensive. Amongst other items tires are cheaper to ship vis USPS than the other two. And when I try...
  9. Getting near that depressing time of year-Winter storage

Also in the Northeast. I know 100% what you are saying, and agree wholeheartadly, especially regading my "permits". Also applies to Europe where I'm from originally and get to now frequently.
  10. UPDATE: 12-28-2022 Steeda Subframe Alignment Kit and Support Kit installation Quote

If you are referring to the Steeda subrame support brackets. Did it on a lift with a friend in a very short time. Quite easy for anyone. If you do not have a lift I guess it can be done by lifting the car onto jack stands.
  11. Enclosed trailering GT350 procedure

Various suggestions are implied in my post
  12. Enclosed trailering GT350 procedure

I have a 2019 GT350, and a Hallmark 20ft enlcosed trailer. I'm 76, 5'11'' 150 lbs, and in great shape. All I do is simply drive the car in. Open the car door, and squeeze out. No problem. Been doing it forever. My big block '68 Corvette w/side pipes and 12.5 compression is extremely loud...
  13. So is this just my life now?

Right on regarding pickups and 20 second cars. Happens frequently with those and various small boxes/sedans, such as Hondas and Altimas (you know whose driving those). Happens more more with my red C7 Z06 Corvette, except I've upped the hp to 710. A bigger waste of time for me to do anything...
  14. Want to hear a joke? 30k+ ADM

Wrong - the above is a $40,000 ADM. Not the only one by far. In the past, all the way back to the 2004-5 Ford GT, until today's GT500, tens of thousands of ADM dollars on both, plus pure Shelby convertible upgrades, try Sarat Ford, MA, and their sister dealer, Family Ford, CT.
  15. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

My 2019 GT350 needed nothing. Just took off the license plates to take it off the road during the winter months here in the Northeast. Nice savings on insurance also.
  16. High-Flow Catalytic Converters

Thanks for putting up those videos. Nice sound comparison. Plan to put hi flow cats on my 2019 GT350 once I determine the sound increase.
  17. High-Flow Catalytic Converters

The reason is simple. Long tube headers require a computer tune. In Massachusetts that means the resulting engine code that is set will kill your ability to register the vehicle. No way around it. I’m considering the high flow cats because they do not set a code.
  18. Race Trailer Advice Needed, Please

Like much of what happens in life my opinion is that you are way overthinking this. I am on my second trailer in a few decades. Both 20 ft enclosed basic trailers. Long ago pulled by a Jeep Grand Cherokee and now 3/4 ton pickup. First, try not to buy based on male ego (see first lien above). If...
  19. How yo use CTEK battery tender on 2022 gt over thw winter

I've been using battery maintainers for decades. Now it's much easier since they contain micro chips. Don't worry about the horizontal display lights. Just make sure the led is lit up under the "vehicle" symbol. The unit will take care of the rest.
  20. Battery tenders? options?

Used CTEK for many years, but have switched to Schumacher - for a variety of reasons, which include both lead acid and lithium charging choices from a singular unit, plus they show % of charge. I use these on a range of vehicles from 1965 Shelby GT350 (2), 2019 Shelby GT350, 2016 Corvette Z06...
