One can only hope that would be the case with this GT500....except for the tires issue. (as an aside I recently tried to replace the OEM Goodyears that came on my 13 GT500, only to be unable to find a replacement for the R/F in inventory anywhere in the US; so I switched to Michelins.) Thanks...

Not really "new to the party".......but my 16R arrived in the middle of summer. But, being "somewhat new to the party" as far as late-year builds, what are the opportunities of asking the dealer to push back the build until next year during warmer weather? Is that a possibility? My dealer rep...

"Too Cold" for what? To drive; or ship? You mean they'll just leave the car out in the snow over the winter months in freezing temps......!!!

Can anyone advise the significance of the 9th digit in the GT500’s VIN.? 0001 has a “3” between the J and the L in its VIN; but mine has a “1” What does this 9th digit signify? Thanks

Certainly glad I responded to the invitation when it appeared while waiting for a flight at Sky Harbor in PHX yesterday. Looking forward to getting acquainted with this beast. Had a great time when they did the GT350 Track Tour at Laguna Seca before I received my car.

The dealer has not advised me of that the VIN is. All I know is that production is scheduled for the week of Oct 14th
