I didnāt, but have any of you? I love the car but the purchasing experience could be better. For comparison I leased a Mazda 3 that came with Mazda tote bags, stickers, pens, etc. While these items are relatively worthless, it was nice to receive them. How do you all feel about this?
I got hit by a driver who pulled out of a cross street without checking for traffic. Thankfully I was ok.
The bad:
There was significant suspension damage, wiring harness damage, and the airbags deployed. The insurance ended up totaling the car.
The good:
I now have a Bullitt and itās...
Sadly yes, mine and others have had the right side headlight to bumper gap and left A-pillar headliner gap. Some donāt notice it, OCD people like me do lolz.
I had SVE axlebacks and an MBRP X-pipe, the drone was horrible. I tried sound deadening and adding weights to the exhaust like the OEMās do to change resonating frequencies but nothing helped. I bit the bullet and bought a Borla Atak axleback, even with the X-pipe itās loud with no drone at all...
I agree, high load low RPM detonation is hard to get rid of. Even 2Vās on the stock tune have pinging (back when they were new, not the worn out ones out there now lolz). Ford released a PCM update addressing it but it was still there.
The chambers are sealed off from each other by the walls. They function independently of each other, just packaged together in one assembly. I wish I still had it to get more pictures. :)
I added this so I could get a sequential shift light. A Holley CAN shift light could be an alternative. https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/tachometer-w-sequential-shift-lights.124117/#post-2580774
In my search for a sequential shift light I stumbled across this tach from Speedhut. This is their 4 inch 8K tach with internal shift lights. Thought about mounting it between the dash gauges but ended up going with the center dash angled toward the driver.
