Oh yes, that colour screams for fall pictures. And yes, I'll surely will shout out here, if I head that way - need some locals to show me the "right" roads. So, thanks for the offer.
Unfortunately nothing - company lease car, needs to stay as it is. I just want to make as many road trip as possible; especially need to go down south, like Tail of the Dragon, Blue Ridge Parkway, ...
Now, I did drive our two Ponies back to back today: 2017 GT with approx 12.000km and the new...
Oh yes. Been to NC, SC recently - unfortunately with a Fusion Hybrid, but at least a decent Ford. And Michigan "up north" is indeed nice, but coming from about an hours drive from the Nurburgring, I am little bit spoiled considering nice and winding roads.
Thanks for all your comments!
I am optimistic - I have a 18 year old french convertible that still does not leak *knock on wood*.
Yeah, crap in summer and crap in winter - classic loose-loose situation. It's a company lease, so I kust adapt - and Michigan does not have the roads where I actually...
Yes, I don't like black wheels, especially not on brighter cars. I didn't quite read that these were actually polished, but now in real life, they suite the orange quite nice.
Interesting that you mention it: when I first opened it, the cluster would annoy me with "roofs not securely opened"...
Yes, mine has arrived and been delivered yesterday. Here's my thread with pictures and I hope to post more over the weekend.

First impression: like the new look, love the active exhaust, and the orange is just the best!
I am biased towards Orange anyway - my ride in Germany is a Toyota GT86 in Inferno Orange, or Hot Lava as it's called in the States.
I hope to get some miles on it at the weekend and can actually try it back-to-back with my wife's 2017. Yeah, call us crazy: two Mustang Convertibles for the...
This is my 2018 Fury Orange. Picked it up today and it's my second car out of Flatrock - the first one being a 2017 Continental. Loved it -brilliant car for road rtips- but when I saw the new orange, I just had to have a Mustang. Also I do love convertibles, still have a 1999 Renault Megane...
2018 Fury says hello
Hi everybody,
been lurking and commenting for a while, but today was finally the big day: picked up my 2018 orange fury GT convertible. So far I only had time to take some phone pictures.
More details here.
I do love it. Looks stunning in the sun. Looks really orange at the moment - we'll see what kind of light makes the colour-shift. And it's THE eye catcher on the company parking lot.
I need to drive them back to back - it felt really good, same short throws. Don't know about the ratios - kept revving it because of the active exhaust. :headbang:
I think they were more like an orange. Maybe the white balance went crazy on that picture. Anyway, decent pictures (and my introduction thread) will follow ...
Unfortunately I did not take the day off; and it's such a lovely weather in Michigan. I'll put some miles on it at the weekend and try to find some decent on/off ramps.
Haven't pushed the engine yet; the new exhaust is a blast - keeps me grinning, even haven't put any music on yet. And...
First: good to hear that nobody was hurt - except for an ego perhaps.
Second: thanks for sharing - it's a good reminder of how powerful those beasts are, and how quickly things can go sideways when least expected.
So, drive safe everybody!
