I engine brake fairly regularly currently, and I don't see that changing too much with the gt350.

I have a down payment on a 2017 R for $15k adm. All dealers local to me with R models wanted $20-30k over, but a forum member (R_gt_Donson) here helped me get an allocation at the dealer he got his R from.

Why IS the ordering/allocation process so confusing? It seems like it should be very straightforward. It should be easy to tell which dealers have allocations, and how many. Dealers ought to have knowledge of how the process works. Orders should not be placeable unless there is an allocation...

That's not entirely true. How many people want and actually are going to buy a $50-60k mustang? Keeping it a limited 2 year run would prevent there being too many, while allowing those that really want one to get one. The GT350 is a fantastic car, but the buying process is terrible. One...

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know how the chassis numbering for 2017 will go? Will they continue with GRxxx, and go above 500' or will they start some new lettering designation (H?) and reset the numbers? I guess for that matter, what about the non-R models also?
