This is actually not true. When the S550 came out it was received positively. Just go watch the Jay Leno's Garage episode of the red S550 prototype. All the comments were positive, including the reception by Jay Leno himself (same for the GT350, Mach 1, and GT500). He has yet to feature any S650.

You know when a YouTuber reviews a product? They donāt review out of the kindness of their heart. Itās called a ācollaborationā. Ford either provided the Mustang free of charge for content creation or they paid for the content. Its business.
Letās not forget, the S650 is the worst selling...
Iām not sure of the M1 tubing size, so perhaps 2.50ā vs. 2.75ā? My understanding is that the M1 mufflers (and perhaps tail-pipe) are from the GT500.
It sees like the licensing agreement between Ford Motor Company and Shelby American has ended. So a GT500 is highly unlikely.
Ford provides the engines and chassis to Multimatic in Canada, so this is more likely the scenario. Unless a Super Duper Dark Horse Extreme Supreme is built by Ford. But...
Mach 1 has the GT500 mufflers/tips, this the reason for the exhaust sound difference (and tune). The tips are also perforated, which is unique to the Mach 1. Resonator is the same for the GT/Mach 1.
