Have a look (if you haven't already) at the Peoples Cars facebook page - they had a Guard GT with Saddle seats and as SteveS says it looked really good with the dark exterior. The seats looked and felt great in the flesh when I was in to see the car.

Not much point in getting upset by it - it is what it is and won't be changed.
