Just an observation, but the car just doesn't feel like it has 460hp. It just doesn't seem fast enough for the power rating. I almost wonder if they're a bit generous with the rating from the factory... Car is a 10 speed with 3.55's, I even run 94 octane.
I absolutely love the car, it just...
I use mine daily on my F150, really miss it on the Mustang. If i'm running into a store I just lock the doors with the truck running so it stays nice and warm/cold
Look at it this way, if it ticks from day one and survives 60,000 miles, the tick probably isn't a big deal by that point. If it ticks from day one and doesn't survive 60k miles, Ford puts a new one in and off you go! Just drive the damn things...
Little tick here and there, whatever. Use a good synthetic and report back if it blows. I've had a bunch of EcoBoost F150's (and work with a fleet of them) that make a bunch of weird noises, very little failures. Of course, different engines but noise does not equal imminent failure.
Cool package. I just bought a '19 GT after test driving an eco PP it just wasn't enough. I really wish they put a 2.7 or 3.5 ecoboost in these cars, would have bought that over a GT without question.
