Check with Ford Performance Chat and if they tell you it's Unscheduled - Clean, that means that Ford has received the order, but hasn't scheduled it yet.

I believe from start to end it takes something like 7 hours, but keep in mind that's not man hours. Way back in the day I used to build mobile homes, from beginning to end it would take 1 day to build one, but hundreds if not thousands of man hours to complete.

If they've got a build date for you, I'd imagine they've got the parts in-house or are supposed to take delivery of the parts in time to build your car. My blend date is tomorrow. I can't wait!

Best I recall, 301A and 401A cars come with the garage opener, you may be able to go to the Ford dealer and find it that way.

I'm not sure if this will fit your bill or not, but I've seen more than a few people switch to Pilot Sport 4S's, either 305/30's all around, or with a 325/30 out back.

It can be either/or. If there's a rebate you want at the time of ordering, your dealer can lock in that rebate but you aren't held to it, the dealer can change it to when you take delivery of the car if the rebates are favorable.

Unfortunately 4-5 months seems to be the going rate. I ordered 6/18 with a 10/23 EDD Question for everyone else who have already received their cars: how long did they stay on the “In Production” status, much like Mustangpursuit, mine already shows in production with a window sticker blend date...

I placed the order with my dealer on 6/14, but it wasn't placed with Ford until 6/18. Maybe they've fixed the long wait issues for you, otherwise get ready for a wait. *sad face*

I would lease, but I wouldn’t lease a mustang. I’d lease something like a Mazda 3, yes, it’s not a mustang, but if you took the additional payment you’d make and put it towards down payment, you’d be money ahead. A buddy of mine just did a 36mo lease for 250/mo or thereabouts. That’s dirt cheap.
