See i'm lucky, my garage sensors won't let the door closed unless it has enough room for the door to go down completely. I just inch back clicking the close button until it finally starts going down, which means I have enough room.

Good info, I think this also helps those people who say driving a car hard is "bad"... Can't drive a car much harder than a race track! I suspect (not certain) the reason the wear metals are so low (among other things) is that I will start the car, and wait for it to idle down before moving...

Almost all cars do this. I keep my RPM very low until it's fully warmed up, and it is rough until then. Nothing is harder on a motor than starting it up and going full throttle instantly. I have a few co-workers who start the car for the first time in eight hours, and proceed to leave strips...

I beg to differ- I have two road course track days (300 minutes of hot lapping...) and 3800 HARD miles on royal purple synthetic and my OLM is 74%.

I got that reading after an autocross run on an airport runway in late july. I think it was accurate as the pavement would melt shoes/.
