Ford stores here in Belgium, and other countries I suppose, were allowed to order some 15 cars for the showroom and/or test cars.
You can walk in at the dealership and buy a Mustang....
My car is scheduled for delivery august 15th, believe me, I shall accept my car if it have those alignment issues. I've owned three Mustangs in the past and not one of these had those issues. I can't imagine that other US build Ford cars shows these issues, or do they?
I remember the video clip...
Launch date 09/09, they are probably right, here in Belgium official launch date is October 15th!
But, ... you're car will be delivered sooner, as stated in VISTA, at least that is what my salesman at the dealership told me.
My EDD was today, 07/08/2015 and for the moment disappeared from Cotus.

My dealer confirmed that customer cars will be delivered before the showroom cars.
My car is supposed to be delivered before August 15, showroom cars are expected in September.

As far as I know, so far no EU Mustangs were delivered. There isn't even a picture or video, showing EU cars are loaded on vessels. When they were leaving for China, there was a complete video available. I think the first Mustangs to arrive in the EU are for the showroom. The ones we have...
I guess you're completely right. It seems like our salesmen at the dealership know more than we do, but they have to keep their mouth shut. I ordered my car on 2/11/15 with an estimated date of delivery August / September 2015. As it seems now, they knew what they're talking about.
As I said...
Correction, the Mondeo is bigger than the Mustang, with mirrors extracted 2,12 m wide and 4,82 m long. Saw it last week at the dealership with the specifications in my hand. Yeah, I was also surprised...
