Correct, as they should be. Sounds like OP, mustang16, is cool with that too. Good idea, since the iron housing is certainly stronger. Even if the aluminum housing might be strong “enough” it doesn’t hurt to overkill the build quality/durability.

The 2018 Mustang offers a 3.55 Torsen differential with the EcoBoost PP (unsure if transmission dependent) and also with the GT PP (only with 10-speed auto). I’m currently trying to find a part number, and where to order.

Has anyone found a part number to order a 3.55 Torsen yet? I have tried googling the following (from the photo above, second line starting with J should be PN) to no avail: TC05A18004320654 JR3W 4000 DB S273F 3L55 Better yet would be a link. Are they even available yet?

Looking for a 3.55 or possibly even 3.31 rear diff assembly for a manual trans S550 GT. I have a 3.73 Torsen with 9k miles we could possibly trade if it works out that way. I’m located in Huntsville Alabama.
