Correct, as they should be. Sounds like OP, mustang16, is cool with that too. Good idea, since the iron housing is certainly stronger. Even if the aluminum housing might be strong “enough” it doesn’t hurt to overkill the build quality/durability.
The 2018 Mustang offers a 3.55 Torsen differential with the EcoBoost PP (unsure if transmission dependent) and also with the GT PP (only with 10-speed auto).
I’m currently trying to find a part number, and where to order.
Has anyone found a part number to order a 3.55 Torsen yet? I have tried googling the following (from the photo above, second line starting with J should be PN) to no avail:
TC05A18004320654
JR3W 4000 DB
S273F
3L55
Better yet would be a link. Are they even available yet?
Looking for a 3.55 or possibly even 3.31 rear diff assembly for a manual trans S550 GT.
I have a 3.73 Torsen with 9k miles we could possibly trade if it works out that way. I’m located in Huntsville Alabama.
OEM leather emergency brake (handbrake) boot. I removed this to install an alcantara boot. This was very carefully removed from the ring, it has NOT been cut off. The full length is intact and can be installed to any S550 handbrake quite easily, since the OEM boots have much more give and...
Brand new from CoyoteAccessories black forged wheel nuts and locking wheel nuts, size M14x1.5 for all S550's. Replace the factory garbage chrome-capped nuts that bulge and split at the edges after a few uses, and upgrade to these for a better look and much better longevity. Solid one piece...
Virtually new, removed from my 2017 GTPP to replace with a lower grade pad for street driving. These Brembo pads are much better performing if you don't mind the dust. Basically new condition, all four front pads plus retainers. I've even marked them Left/Right so the direction of rotation stays...
Brand new sealed bottles. Full fluid change for any MT-82 equipped car. Bought two sets of this, one is in my car currently and it shifts great. Improved over stock, and being full synthetic it will run cooler and last much longer.
$sold.
@boardkat and @Rexpelagi are the two I know of pioneering this setup for their autocross cars.
Maybe they will chime in here.
The OEM GT350R setup is as follows:
19x11 ET 24
19x11.5 ET 56
These 11.5” rears should work up front but they’ll need a spacer larger than 1” (likely 1.25”+). At...
@Paul@PKAUTODESIGN
Of the 12” wheels you’ve supplied to S550 owners so far, were they the same offsets front and rear, or different offsets to avoid needing massive front wheel spacers?
