  1. Bullitt Wheels on mustang gt

Thanks jimmy. Shame there’s no clues on there. At least they’re made in USA and not Mexico etc
  2. Bullitt Wheels on mustang gt

One final question. Do you know which company makes these for Ford? Usually it’s cast somewhere on the rear face along with the part number. Thanks
  3. Bullitt Wheels on mustang gt

Thank you I’m tryIng to make a Bullitt tribute for half the price of the real deal. Started with a Guard green GT, added black badges so far (wanted to remove the badges but there’s holes behind them all...). Black pony on the front grille looks good. But I might add some Bullitt stickers to...
  4. Bullitt Wheels on mustang gt

Nice rims dude:like: I think the stock tires are the same size? How about centre caps and wheel nuts? Carry over from stock GT? I’d be surprised if Ford would accept variation on a modern lean production line but hey you never know
  5. Bullitt Wheels on mustang gt

    That’s logical Thanks
  6. US 'Detailing' vs UK 'washing the car'

 I had a Mini where 1 baked on bird crap dissolved the clear coat in patches. Even resorted to ultra fine wet n dry but to still to no avail. That was left on for about a month in the spring, baked on as you say, so lesson kinda learnt... Joys of living by the sea where the seagulls...
  7. US 'Detailing' vs UK 'washing the car'

Hi Kristian I didn’t even get it home, just as far as the nearest jet wash... I think I had been saved by the bad weather which seemed to have loosened & washed away the worst of it. I’m no expert on bird crap but I wonder if the thick black crusty stuff does the real damage, thankfully none...
  8. Bullitt Wheels on mustang gt

** bump ** Will OE Bullitt wheels fit a 2016 GT with PP big Brembos? I can’t imagine why not However Fords dealer ā€˜parts database’ advises not. Probably because they weren’t applied as standard to my VIN. However I don’t want to risk that amount of money to find there’s an issue. Can’t find...
  9. US 'Detailing' vs UK 'washing the car'

Thought this pic might make any detailer freak:) after leaving my car parked up whilst away on hols, I came back to find 68 bird craps on the car. Counted every single f****** one...
  10. Thinking of buying a 2016 GT but....

I’m with Steve S on this. Aftermarket warranties whether via Ford or another are just insurance policies. The wording highlighted by Steve specifically excludes consequential damage, so we are flogging a dead horse here. Typically these warranties will pay out Ā£50 for your replacement timing...
  11. Quiz - can you identify this part?

Cool thanks fellas. Despite this spring change by previous owner the clutch pedal was still a bit juddery. Dealer bled the hydraulic clutch - big improvement. Probably best thing to do with it is to make a pogo stick for a Pygmy :)
  12. So how was your Ford experience today?

Both front alloys have started to bubble paint on the spokes internal face (not the face you see from the side of the car, not curb damage. Ford rejected this claim under warranty claiming its stone chips. Anybody had similar issue and faired any better?
  13. Quiz - can you identify this part?

found this in the boot from previous owner. Any ideas?
  14. What did you do to your UK S550 Mustang Today

MOT passed. 27k miles, no issues or advisories  Dealer managed to chip the paint and disputes it:thumbsdown:
  15. The UK S550 "spotted" thread

Grabber blue with a pretty blonde lady driver on A19 Southbound at Boldon ā€˜Testos’ Roundabout. That’s what I call girl power
  16. The UK S550 "spotted" thread

OK spot on will check it out
  17. So how was your Ford experience today?

Car would not engage any gear. Initial call to the dealers not-so-helpful helpline was that it was my responsibility to get the car recovered to the dealer. VOR under warranty? really? Next dealer provided ford assist hotline who sent out a regular aa patrol. He advised clutch pedal had...
  18. The UK S550 "spotted" thread

Did I miss an event in the North East today? I saw 3 s550s in grabber blue, need for green and I think a grey one along with a few tasty classic Stangs in convoy heading towards the South Shields coast A194 today. Just got a fleeting glance as I was in the wife’s car with the kids heading the...
  19. Things to look for before buying a 5.0 Mustang UK

It’s just a car.except it’s cool & not a god awful Renault etc... so just check the regular car stuff Aim to get the newest so you get the balance on factory warranty. Then anything you find will be covered Service history Fair mileage as the trim can wear with miles Evidence of accident...
  20. First service prices? £310?!

I think that’s the point Ā£200 was the ball park figure in my mind and I understand that (for example) a BMW M sport technician service on a ā€˜competitor’ car would be a higher cost But the price variation between dealers means you need to do your homework to even get to that price And which...
