Just contacted my insurance company yesterday. We are paying $660/6 months now for a 08 Odyssey & 11 Sportage. Our policy has higher coverage than the state minimum & $500 deductible. (Our 2 Mustangs are on a separate collector car policy, which makes them much cheaper to insure.) Not sure...

I'm going with the standard seats. This will be my daily driver, so I'm more interested in comfort - heated/cooled seats and power/memory to make it easier for the kids to get in and out of the back seat.

Used to be true, before automatics started getting as many gears as the manuals. Between that and the computers controlling the shift points, the autos get slightly better mileage nowadays...

I'm going to miss having a sunroof. This will be my first car ever without one, and the one i'm driving now has the panoramic roof which is 90% glass. Oh well - when I want to see the sky, I'll take my 95 GT vert or the wife's 03 GT vert out for a ride...

I prefer the manual recline. My last two vehicles both had power recline and required constant fiddling and adjusting as they would gradually recline on their own. Since I have kids that will be regularly using the back seat, the manual release, in my mind, would be quicker in and out for them...

That is exactly my plan for the memory seats... One for me, one for my wife (on the rare occasion that she drives it), and one for getting the kids in and out of the back seat.

My 95 GT convertible has the oxford white leather in it. I only allow water in the car so that I don't have to worry about messes (two kids). I like the white, but it only goes out on nice days. I don't think I could handle the white if it was my daily driver.
