As long as I can remember, my tire/wheel shop always put the yellow dot inline with the valve stem. Yellow dot indicates the lightest point of tire. The red dot indicates the tire high point for radial runout.

That wheel/tire strap doesnāt look right as itās putting all the load on the top of the wheel. Thatās a moving miscue big time. That trailer isnāt set up to move cars & most likely transported both cars in gear with the parking brake engaged.
Took it to Blackhawk Farms Raceway today. Heavy am rain, downpours, pink lightening and thunder you felt in your chest. Got out for some afternoon stints. Car got wet sitting through all that, miracle it didnāt melt- lol
To me, it seems odd that an organization would ban an EV or hybrid. I would think the individual track safety teams/directors would set policy. I know that the event planners/organizers I use allow them now. I frequent Road America and safety team there only wants to know what run group theyāre...

When we purchased our car, the dealer was fantastic with knowledge about the car & all its nuance. A great talk with the owner and why he ordered the car the way he did, complete walk around with the service director & our salesman plus they put it on a lift to show me the underside to explain...
While on track, I upshift at 6K rpm and try to keep the rpmās in the 5K to 6.5K range. Iāll go to 6,800 rpm on the short straights in 4th gear that gets near 110mph at 6,800 rpm and 5th gear gets near 139mph at 6,800 rpm on the long straights. Going fast is exciting but nothing is as...
Contact Jeff Black directly. Heās the performance specialist and new car logistics dude up there. Heās on Facebook with a large following. If you get a hold of him, tell him the Marquette basketball fan sent you his way.
I use these 3āx3ā squares of heavy rubber with a slot that fits perfectly into the access opening at the side sill arrow and sits perfectly in the pinch weld seam at just the right depth. Use my floor jack to lift and if the jack stands are require, mine are the bluepoint brand with a flat...
While on track just remember to keep your visor closed no matter hot you get. Case in point is when at Autobahn this past Monday, while on track at speed, a large chunk of klag rubber came flying into my car and bounced off my visor right in my line of sight.
Back when we were researching a way to tie down the car, we came to find out with an enclosed trailer, the mustang does not make it too easy. You only have so many options which are few. Tire nets are a great way to secure the car but access to drape them over the wheel/tire is a no go in an...
Iām using the FP frame rail tie down plates. https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-1700-M
Because of the location of where they mount on the car and where my floor d-rings are, I cross the straps so the straps donāt rub on the inside of the tires. In the enclosed trailer, there is no room to...
