Yeah I was concerned about creating a mess to clean up with the threads on the downside. Just had to ask! You might consider takin a punch & making a small vent hole on the filter's top side to keep from loosening it. Seems as soon as you crack them a bit the oil runs. Just a thought. Enjoy...

We have accumulators on our combines for the application on the hydraulic side. Same principal though the filter setup is quite different than an auto/race car. Curious to know when you decide to drop the oil will it bleed down & out of the filter? If not looks like a major mess to clean up...

Tank, You know the trucks pretty well. 39' Ford, lived the last leg of it's life as a Coca-Cola delivery truck in Colorado. Plans for a street truck. Had a genuine Boss 429 engine built for it with great junkyard patina for the rat & decided to sell to get into our 16' GT350R. No regrets...
