The Steeda comment was more sarcasm that anything. I really don't think you need a lot of Mustang Wisdom to make a simple spring. I referenced them because it was their part in question. I have no idea who else has made them but I'm sure there are several options.
So Ford added this spring for 2 reasons....One with the intent of making every shift feel the same but it is expecting you to do a full press. As most drivers get better at speed shifting, the length of your clutch push shortens up a bit. The biggest problem with the stock spring is that the...
How are they? I have been looking at basically the same thing. But my concern is that they are too track purpose and wont provide good cold grip. Bear makes some amazing brakes but some of the more racy applications need a lot of heat to be better than stock. Let me know how they are before...
I cant LIKE with this enough. Mine will never be the fastest and that has never been the goal. I just cant imagine not having a clutch and a stick. Autos just don't give me that thrill. Saying that, I don't flog on it enough to have my shift points down like I did on my last stang. I hit...
Update on the Grill. Everything has been installed and I'm crazy happy about it. It started to rain as I was finishing up (which took most of my light as well) so I didn't realize that they emblem power cable was so visible. I will deal with that next weekend. Tomorrow, I'm getting my paint...
Well. With a little influence from a few guys on here, I finally decided to pull the stock front license plate bracket. The bumper is getting patched and painted either Friday or Monday. Still working on that schedule. After I installed the Sto and Show plate mount, I decided to improve the...
I love RainX Been using it for years and years and years. Doesn't get as much play on the stang since she rarely sees rain. But my daily needs to be re coated about every two weeks.
I really enjoyed reading this. Sounds like you've had some knee issues in your life time. I have also had a few knee issues but lucky it hasn't affected my ability to drive stick.
To the point of your really good post. Everyone buys a Mustang for a different reason. I have loved this car...
That is an amazing looking shot. The color is so alive! I need to do some full sun pictures this weekend when I have some time before the fresh detail shine fades!
I've asked for dimensions on the lugs but I don't have them yet. I know they are 14mm 1.5x but that's all I have so far. I wanted to get some Gorilla locking nuts but I'm told they don't make a gloss back in that size. Just chrome....ughhhh
I still have some cleaning up to do but I added some P51s today. Also increased the tire sizes as you can see.
Wheel/Tires
Front 19x10 / 285/35/19
Rears 19x11 / 325/30/19
Cant wait for some better pictures!
Hey Steeda! First I want to say I'm a big fan of your parts. I have a number of them on my current mustang. I even have my fav Steeda rep in my phone who has helped me for about 15 years. I was reading through the list of upgrades for the base package and I feel like the price is a little...
