Tonights Colbert Report will feature Alan Mulally if anyone is interested! Maybe some mustang info, I'm pretty sure seeing as mustang tweeted it!

No low end only. It hurts high end. That's why I said I'm not sold. It has benefits low to mid but restricts up top. There have been work around with different designs so that's why I'm not sure why they didn't go that route, but again I'll reserve judgment til I see dyno charts.
Edit - again...
Some have touched on it. They make a delete kit on the 96-98 cobras that used to use this technology. It increased high rpm power but hurt low end, and didnt look great across the middle effectively making it good on the strip and sucky on the street. Too much head for 281 cubic inches. Now the...
If the 200 weight loss claims are true, I think the camaro will still be heavier. Therefore I don't think it will have a problem at 450 HP with less torque
I was just going to ask this. That sucks. With those changes I can't see it making less than a boss. I agree 450/410, or that's what it will be making and they under rate it. I'm not sold on the motion control valves as I've said before, they ditched them after the 98 cobra and the 99 made more...
Yeah Amarillo is about the furthest north you can go, it's 14 degrees right now! The traction control helps a lot but it for sure isn't fun driving in it. Get a winter car! Lol
In over a foot we got last year in two days my 01 convertible never had issues, and it sat outside the whole time with all the snow over it. Been through a bunch of snow without probems
Motor trend is in fact saying the manual has rev matching. Another thread on the front page covers that. Plus the gt out did a boss 302 on the track, serious handling skills here, so who cares about adjustable shocks. If you are going to want any better than that then you are likely the person...
Correct. That's why I said to hell with it and threw 4.10s on my 01 cobra to make up for the low end loss. Hell with 6800 redline who cares. Definitely getting at least 3.73s on this beast. Hoping for a high 7000 plus redline
96 - 98 cobras had this, 1999 and 2001 and 2003-4 cobras and 2003-4 mach 1s didn't. The latter made more power with some of those models being basically the same motor. Makes me wonder if this is something they will axe in the future.
Edit talking about cmcv
Ok I understand. They can attack and will, but they said the gt out did a freaking boss around a track. I'm giving credit where it is due. Can't wait to see the track version to compete with the z/28 and actually compete in events as well.
Edit- you may be right on the price. Which is ouch but...
