Looks like it is pegged at 20 psi. Did you confirm boost with a gauge with a higher boost range? Unbelievable performance from this little ECO. A 3.5 ECO option in the Mustang would be absolutely amazing... as would an 5.0 ECO. Cool times we live in.

The twin scroll refers to the exhaust turbine of the turbo. The compressor (intake) side of the turbo would have still have a normal map. I see the confusion now. lol :cheers:

They are not wrong. Both pressure and and airflow dictate how a turbo will work with a given engine turbo combination. But when is the last time you saw a gauge for an air flow meter? The average person will ask, what was the change in boost that netted this increase in power because it's...

Boost is absolutely an indicator of performance. If the car picks up 100 HP with a 3 psi gain how is that not relevant. Inquiring minds want to know. Its not until you go beyond and outside a turbo/engine efficiency range that you need to worry about restriction overcoming the performance...

With a 4.2 first gear and aftermarket gears (3.73 - 4.11) the torque multiplication is huge. Assuming 4.11s you are looking at +5000 ft-lbs at the rear axle with a stock engine. Yes it can do a wheelie if it has good traction (i.e. slicks, prepped track). It's freaking awesome. Good job Ford.

I think you are corn fused. Why would you measure boost on a NA engine only capable of producing vacuum? The photos shown illustrate one gauge with both vacuum and boost while another only measures vacuum. We have a conflict here... a GT vehicle which is assumed to be a NA engine with a gauge...

Case in point:

The point is... why would Ford put a gauge with boost on a vehicle when they all ready have a gauge for a NA vehicle (vacuum only). Answer?

I swear I have seen a picture of a gauge with VAC only. That would imply that something is boosted under the hood!

Best argument I have heard so far. I would actually consider buying an ecoboost V6 if it had AWD, but I would not want the entire Mustang lineup to suffer to make this option avialable. If it only affected the K-member on AWD models I think it would be a win-win.
